Jin took a breath taking a moment to himself, blatantly ignoring Jungkook who just put him on the spot, before turning around and walking up to the table where RM was sat looking like a whole ass meal which Jin tried his best to ignore as he tried to keep himself together.

He bowed politely before kneeling down in front of the author and slid his book onto the table, not looking up for the whole process.

Namjoon couldn't deny the other was unbelievably attractive up close but swept that into the back of his mind as he greeted "Why hello there handsome." with the same dimple smile he'd been giving all day (although this one was less forced) deciding there was nothing wrong with treating the extremely jaw droppingly gorgeous man with the same charm he did his female fans (and maybe a bit extra) even though he'd been told before to only use his charms with his female audience (which he didn't understand.)

Seokjin's head shot up with how he was addressed and he tried his best to calm how red his face was by thinking things like 'it's just fan service' and 'maybe I'm hearing things' before regaining what little composure and grace he could and shyly replying "It's nice to meet you."

It was barely above a whisper but Namjoon could've sworn his heart stopped at the sound of the other heavenly sweet voice.

It was soft but strong, and angelic but also not so heavenly since Namjoon could already imagine certain sounds coming from the man - raging over a game of Mario carts specifically because his mind wasn't in the gutter...

Namjoon quickly had to snap himself out of his thoughts before he got a problem (which was clearly war flashbacks to playing Mario carts with Jungkook) which he didn't really want to have to deal with.

Meanwhile Jin couldn't get the compliment out of his head even though he convinced himself that it was just a generic greet so he was only snapped out of his thoughts when Namjoon pulled himself together and finally spoke.

Namjoon asked "So what's your name hottie?" Cringing at his choice of words but dismissing it quickly because he didn't want to come across as the panicked gay he arguably was in that moment, and opened the book ready to sign when the other gave his answer.

Seokjin felt like he had an epiphany when the other opened the book because of the thought or more like realisation of 'Oh of course that's why he's calming me these pet names, he doesn't know my name. Duh.'

So after taking a shaky breath he quietly answered "Kim SeokJin." shyly not wanting to say anything stupid or embarrass himself.

Every part of Namjoon wanted to reply 'Well it's nice to know neither of our names will change when we get married baby' but he had to stop himself because:

One, he didn't want to make a complete fool out of himself by flirting with someone who was; to handsome to be interested, probably not interested in men or single.

And two, he would be outing his last name and that would ruin years worth of hiding it so instead he went with "That's a good name, it suits a handsome guy like you." Still flirting a little for the fan service but not enough to get rejected or make a fool of himself.

Jin's blush deepened at the compliment but remained reluctant to make eye contact with the other man because he didn't want to seem like a creep for just staring and taking in the little features on the other mans face - thinking from just brief glances he could be a model easily.

A member of staff began walking over to the pair which Namjoon caught in the corner of his eye so he raised his hand knowing what they were going to say and motioned for them to pause so he could talk to Seokjin some more since it was only Jungkook waiting - not that he'd of cared in that moment anyways... or the fact it being Jungkook would normally make him speed it up...

Namjoon thought he was going to have to speak again but to his pleasant surprise SeokJin managed to muster up the courage too, shocking them both.

Carefully he said "I... really like... your books..." Trying his best to not let his satoori show like it normally did when his brain was on overdrive while simultaneously trying to ignore the feeling of his face heating up more (thank god for foundation and colour corrector.)

Namjoon couldn't help but beam at the compliment as he said "Thank you which ones your favourite?" Because he could tell it was genuine and for some reason it coming from the other made it more impactful - the fact he'd mainly gotten compliments on his appearance and other books (not the intended book for the specific signing.)

Jin chanced glancing up in that moment before answering meeting RM's eyes before looking directly down again swearing the dimples on Namjoon's face were literally asking to be squished.

So before he could get to lost in his thoughts about his love for cute things he focused on the question given before carefully answering"Your poetry book... Reflection..." Thinking to himself the reasons why and nodding when he was sure, proceeded by taking in a breath to try and make a full sentence so he could voice his thoughts.

"It's really relatable and it's harsh but true about everything. It being more honest and realistic gets to people and the way you used words and different phrases from other languages makes it more versatile and inclusive, or at least I think they're the words, and it just has this massive affect even if it's kinda short in comparison to your other works like mono but also long for just one singular poem. And that's just talking about some of the features, the writing in it is amazing and so is what it addresses. Wishing you could love yourself is something so many people relate to and you summed it up perfectly and it was so powerful and impactful and- sorry I'm rambling. 'Tis a bad habit."

Jin couldn't help but chuckle lightly at the end because he caught himself Jin doing something he normally argued and denied doing.

Namjoon was so engulfed in SeokJin's words that he didn't even notice, getting lost in what he was saying and the genuine feedback that he wasn't even aware of his own genuine smile.

The other had actually read his books and didn't just choose one of his best sellers as his favourite to try and appear good, he gave solid facts and reasons and actually had an opinion on it which most people ignored - focusing on first appearance in comparison to its deeper meaning.

Namjoon was impressed and he couldn't help but chuckle at the others cuteness which stood out in great contrast to the 'well put together hot boy' look he was serving, but instead of teasing the other for rambling on and rushing him to leave he just handed Jin his book back, winking as he said "Keep talking like that and I'll easily fall in love with you. Your a man after my own heart."

And it was in that moment Seokjin had never been more grateful for his acting major.

He used it to hide his complete shock and fanboying by bowing and thanking Namjoon for his time before quickly moving along figuring after his rambling he didn't want to bore the author more and take time away from Jungkook - definitely not using that reason as a scape goat so he didn't feel like he was running away.

Definitely not.

So without looking back he made his way to where he said he'd wait, standing off to the side of the exist and burying his red face in his hands waiting for the other boy.
