Part 25: End

It was another planned dinner date at casa de la Namjoon but since their last they'd had a few impromptu get together in which Namjoon had disclosed the other could just walk in as long as Namjoon knew he was coming over, saying he'd leave the door unlocked like he had tonight.

And after a text reminder to just come in, Jin had somehow managed to manoeuvre the door open with hands full of bags shouting "Yo rap monster!" And laughing to announce himself... the laughing may or may not have caused him to stumble slightly... but whatever it was on the floor which Jin couldn't see definitely didn't help so he could just blame that... whatever that was...

He awkwardly shifted his head to see what was on the ground, finally looking around him and noticing the trail of rose petals and lit candles leading to the living room area as well as the sound of loud clattering in the kitchen.

He paused for a moment putting all the pieces together before turning bright red watching as Namjoon stumbled into the door way and whining at the author "Are you trying to kill me?!"

Said author burst out laughing seeing his hyungs flustered state before quickly rushing over and helping grab the bags he knew the other was bringing (something he planned as back up just in case he failed a little too hard with his surprise.)

Jin had arrived earlier than he expected which made the timing a bit off on his plans but with no malice he smiled saying "Well that's the first surprise ruined." Wrapping his arms around the other after shoving all the bags into the kitchen entry way, pecking Jin's lips lightly as the other teased "I just nearly died so I'd say I was still pretty surprised." Chuckling when Namjoon nuzzled his cheek like an apologetic puppy.

Namjoon's hand fell to hold onto Jin waist as he took a step back examining the flustered elder, glancing to look for any physical damage before asking "Are you okay?" Genuinely concerned.

Jin glanced around the room taking in the romantic aura, then turning back to Namjoon with a cute pout both knowing the other wasn't going to respond to what Namjoon was asking about.

Namjoon chuckled, calling his hyungs name cutely before kissing his cheek waiting for the answer which the other flusteredly gave complaining "I'll survive the fall but the heart attack I'm getting from this could be the death of me."

He flailed his arms around for amphasis before his pout intensified mustering a soft chuckle from the other as he kissed the pout away mumbling "Well then I'll try and make sure your death is sweet and gentle."

Jin lightly hit his chest whining "Yah. I love you, you goof." Leaning in to kiss the others cheek before burying his face in his neck, happily accepting the kisses he was getting as the other whispered "I love you too, now close your eyes and wait here for a minute." giving Jin one final kiss before hurrying away.

Jin noticed the smell of food cooking causing him to raise a curious eyebrow because he was supposed to be teaching Namjoon again like the weeks prior but he assumed it was just apart of 'the surprise.'

Jin couldn't help but smile at the cuteness, secretly dubbing the flusteredness he felt due to Namjoon 'Namjooning' proving himself to be quiet the romantic.

Namjoon quickly scurried back taking the others hands and placing a thin book in them mumbling "For you." Before kissing Jin's cheek again and pulling away.

He then instructed "There's wine and stuff in the front room, please read it and I'll call you in for dinner in the dining room when it's done cooking." Stealing one last peck before running back into the kitchen.

Jin couldn't help but smiley like the love sick dork he was, skipping to the sitting room and pouring himself a glass of wine.

Once he was settled he opened the book and began reading aloud "Epiphany..."
