"Zeo, seriously! Give me back my textbook I have an exam to study for" Misty shouted as Zeo pranced around the room holding her book. No, this is not working out well for her.

But first, why do you think Misty would be with Zeo on a Saturday morning. Honestly, at 7 am, she would be in her room, tangled in her comforter as she read another chapter of one of Holly Bourne's book.

But no, her bastard of a friend decided to ruin her day and drag her in a mess that he is. Oh why is life so horrible for her?

"Zeo I swear to Yato the God that I will tell your mom who fucking ate all the cookies last thanksgiving!" Misty screamed as Zeo continued to pester her, and the book.

"Yeah, yeah Nerd" Misty snorted at Zeo's comment, "Seriously? Nerd? When did you get so stereotype, bad boy?" She said as she laughed laying down on Zeo's bed.

"Her, it's all your fault" Zeo chuckled joining her on the bed, "You made me read all those ewi-goowy-love-stories you loved so much"

Misty cringe at the memory of her younger self. "So much for cliché story" she whispered to herself, "And you know that the bad boy ended up with the nerd right?"

"Shut up asshole" Misty said throwing a pillow at a laughing Zeo. "Hey, hey! No fair!" Zeo said still laughing at his best friend's embarrassed face.

"Idiot" Misty muttered as they both fell down on Zeo's bed, "What now?" She asked. "I don't know. I'm grounded, your mom is making you stay with me. It's not like we were back in high school anyway"

Misty's face scrunched up at the pang of guilt her heart felt. Sure they weren't in high school, sure they changed a lot, and she knew it was all her fucking fault.

"I'm sorry" she started feeling her eyes being teary, "What?" Zeo quickly look at Misty and sat up, "Hey, hey. I wasn't implying anything! Hey, that's all in the pass now. Hey, are you okay?"

Misty laughed at her worried friend and sighed in relief. She stopped with a smile and started reminiscing the past and their friendship.

It was six years ago and yet it was still as clear as sea water for her. She was young and new and was only starting her freshmen year like everyone else.

She still remembered the way her new books smelled, the way the oversized sweater fitted her perfectly. The way her skirt was irritating and that she would not wear it if only her mother hadn't asked her to.

She still remembered the young boy that stopped her in the hallway and tried to be all flirty with her. She remembered how she gut him and the boy and all his friends started running after her.

She remembered how fucking terrified and thrilled she was and how she run straight to someone. She still remembered it so clearly. The way that someone looked at her then at the boys running after her. How that someone saved her from her new bullies.

"Thanks I guess?" she asked that day, "Don't sweat it" he answered and left her there in the middle of the hallway with all the new bullies laying defeated around her.
