~2005~

"Donghyuck honey, let's go! We're leaving!" His mom called.

"Just a second!" The five year old called back. There was still so much to see around the park. He hadn't even seen the best part yet: the river. Not paying attention to his mom's calls, he skipped over to the river, standing just on the edge of it.

"Hyuckie, come on!" His mom looked in his direction to see him leaning towards the rushing water. "Donghyuck, be careful! Don't fall in!"

Donghyuck's head shot up. "I'm fine Mom!" He insisted. He put his head back down. "Just have to get this rock." It looked so close. Donghyuck stretched out his arm to grab it. Still not able to reach it, he took a step forward into the water. He knew his mom would be mad about the wet shoes, but she would be happy again when she saw the rock. After all, it was shaped like a heart.

But Donghyuck greatly underestimated the depth and strength of the river. The current pulled his legs, sending him tumbling into the water.

"Donghyuck!" His mom yelled, running to the water, frantically trying to save her son.

But it was too late.

Donghyuck was gone.
