Chapter 15: Are You Mad?

"You are?!" Peeta says with a smile.

"Yeah," I say. "Are you mad that I didn't tell you right away?"

"No, no not at all, I would've liked to be the first one to know, of course. But as long as I know, that's all that matters."

"How did I get so lucky to get a husband like you?" I ask, he's so understanding all the time.

He kisses me.

"Mommy's gonna have a baby?" Katherine and Pete ask in sync.

"Yes," I say.

"Boy or a girl?" Katherine asks.

"We don't know yet," I tell them.

"Why?" Pete asks.

"That's a different and bet long explanation for a different day." Peeta says.

I laugh a little.

I haven't even thought about which gender I'm "hoping" for. To be honest I don't care as long as it's a healthy baby.

"Thanks for not being mad at me, for not telling you right away. Prim called me right after I found out, so, I didn't say anything. I just found out... A week ago?" I say.

"Yea, it's okay, Kat. As long as I know eventually it's okay," he kisses my forehead. "I'm sure we're gonna have a great little baby, just like the Katherine and Pete were."

"Do you want a girl or boy?" I ask.

"I don't know, what do you want?"

"A healthy baby," I say.

He smiles, "That's all I parent could ask for." I nod in agreement. "Plus, we have one of each, so I'm fine with either."

"Yeah, it makes deciding harder,"

"Wanna think of some names?" he asks.

"Sure,"

"What are some more K names for girls?" He asks.

"Kathy, Katy, Kristina, Krystal-"

"Krystal," he says. "Doesn't that one have a ring to it?"

"Yea, I like that one, what about P names for a boy?"
