After leaving Miguel's hideout, Camila went to help Mrs. Tessa and Juanita with any other stuff before continuing putting up the rest of her family pictures. The only ones that weren't put up, was Mamá María and her Tío Héctor and they were placed in a safe place......

And what I mean by a safe place, they were in her two skirt pockets separately so they won't collide to one another and the glass won't break.

She had confessed to everyone that she was going to play in the Mariachi Plaza tonight for the Music Competition with a friend of hers earlier on before doing everything she needed to do. Everyone cheered and wished her and her partner the best of luck. Señorita Tessa had told her that she can do very little work so she wouldn't exhaust herself and they'll be thrilled and excited to see both of them perform that night.

And so, here was Camila, simply humming a soft tune, and it was the same tune that she and Miguel had played while she was sweeping, and then she just thought of him. She didn't know why, but she felt like she was a big part of his life and he was a nice part in her life, however she couldn't put her finger on it. It was like she was swimming or walking around the darkness that she never knew that existed and Miguel had found her and was showing her, leading her to the right direction.

"Miguel Rivera..." She mumbled softly and held onto la escoba gently and gently clenched and unclenched. Just thinking about him and wondering why he's so important to her, when she had just met him in the span of 15 minutes?

She sighed softly and looked outside and her eyes went extremely wide and her jaw dropped slightly. "Eek!!! Día de los Muertos has begun!! And I haven't even put up their fotos!!" She panicked and quickly swept up the pile of dirt that was sitting there for quite a while, quickly went to the room to grab an extra basket of the Marigold petals and gently, yet quickly placed them down to the ground, hoping anyone that comes tonight would get their destination safely. As she was doing this, she immediately heard very loud yelling and crashes. She softly cringed that the noises and felt bad for the familia that had to go through that.

She tried to ignore as best as she could and continued to place the Pétalos de caléndula to the ground......

That is until she heard those words.

"I don't wanna be in this family!"

She gasped sharply and almost dropped the basket when she those harsh words and looked at the direction to where and who said those 7 words....

"Miguel....."

She said softly and she finally noticed that she was in her ofrenda room, gently looked at her family pictures, slowly sighed softly and gave them a small frown. "I'm sorry that I can't be with you guys tonight. I have to do something first. I have to make sure that my friend doesn't do anything that can harm him in the future. I have to find Miguel!" She said with bravery in her voice and quickly walked to her parents wedding photo and kissed it gently. "Te amo, Mamá, Papá. I promise I'll be in bed before midnight. I'll see you guys later once I know things will be okay!" She said and gently placed the basket of petals on the ground next to the table, grabbed her guitar just in case, ran out of the room, closing the door behind her, and finally ran outside so she can find her friend with concern and worry.

'Por favor, mí amigo.... Please don't make anything dumb! '

While she was running, it was already nighttime and she was calling out his name loudly and when she turned to the next corner, she bumped into someone harshly, making her fall on her bum and groaned in pain. "Ouch... that hurt!" She whined softly as she rubbed her sore spot on her butt gently.

"C-Camila?....."

She gasped softly and quickly looked up and felt relief and concern throughout her body as she smiled sympathetically at the person in front of her.

Short black hair, a mole on his face, brown hazelnut eyes, wearing a red jacket and that same white tank top from before. But tears were running down his face.

"Miguel! "

What she completely forgot on that moment, would change not only hers and Miguel's, but other people's lives as well.

So in a way, both Miguel and Camila's act would change so many lives on that fateful night, Forever and ever.

To be Continued......
