I stayed up after she fell asleep- knowing she would wake up in pain, and I wanted to be fully awake and aware for when that happened.

The guys slowly fell asleep- one after another, Calum and I the only one still watching the movies.

"It was hard" he mumbled, making me look to him.

"Seeing that happen to her-" his voice cracked.

"Terrifying" I mumbled in agreement.

"I swear- I thought he was going to kill her in front of us"  I spoke- seeing him nod.

"He's dead" Calum spoke, knowing more than I did.

"I asked a doctor- he was dead on scene"

"I hate to be brutal"
"But that's probably best"

Around three in the morning she woke up slow- letting out a quiet whine.

"Feeling it?" I questioned, earning a small nod back.

Calum gave her the littlest amount of medicine before we put some ice on it.

I kissed her cheek gently as she cuddled closer to me.

"Cal" she mumbled, patting the little space on the other side of her in the bed.

He laughed lightly- not being able to ever tell her no

He climbed into bed with her, us both holding her into us.

"When can I go home?" She questioned.

"If you're feeling okay, I'm sure we'll discharge you tomorrow" Calum spoke.

She nodded lightly

"Dylan- is he alive?" She questioned slowly.

"No baby" I spoke slowly, seeing her nod.

"I feel like there's more to the story than what he was telling everyone." She mumbled.

"Like what, baby?" Calum questioned.

"I don't know" she mumbled

"Like- yeah, those kids are bullies and what they did is unforgivable- but why kill so many innocent people?"

She was cracking.

"I feel like it wasn't just them that made him do it."

"It was probably a mixture of things, he may have had family problems, personal troubles- you never know baby" I spoke slowly.

She swallowed lightly, nodding.

"I saw dead people" her voice cracked.

I pulled her head into me as tears made their way.

"His blood- it hit me" she cried into my chest.

"I'm so sorry you had to go through if, baby"

"Please- just don't ever leave me again."
