Feeling the hand on my shoulder, I turn around to see someone unexpected.
"Bakugo?"
With a head tilt, I turn around and take out my earbud. I look up at his red eyes, a questioning expression on my face. At this, he stares at me and starts to walk.
"I have some unfinished business with you, Minty," Bakugo growls. I laugh a little at his nickname for me. "I have a name. It's (Y/n)." I say with a smile. "I don't care. I won't remember it anyway." With a sigh, I nod. "Whatever," I say before catching up to him.
"So what did you need again?"
"..."
"If you're not going to say anything, then can I leave?"
"You're not going anywhere."
"Then?"
"I just wanted to tell you that I'll beat you."
"Huh?"
"I'll be the number one hero."
"Okay?"
"You'll regret making fun of me."
"Huh?"
We pause for a moment before I start to laugh. "WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING AT?!" Bakugo yells. "Are you serious? Is this about earlier? Sorry if I made you feel bad!" I say in between laughs. "YOU DIDN'T MAKE ME FEEL BAD! SHUT UP! STOP LAUGHING."
"I'm joking! Don't worry about! Alright, you'll beat me. It's not that hard to anyway." I say with a shrug. "Psh, that's not true." I turn my head to look at him. "You're pretty strong for a damned extra." I laugh a little as his back-handed compliment. "Thanks, I guess."
"You're not as bad as I thought you would be."
"WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN, HUH?"
"Come on, you can't get angry at me, first the sports festival, I see the first place student being chained up, then my first day in class you present your code name to be 'Lord Explosion Murder.'"
"..."
"Oh? Have I silenced the great Bakugo Katsuki?"
"SHUT UP SHORTIE, I'M TRYING TO IGNORE YOU."
At this, I laugh before sticking an earbud back into my ear, letting the music consume my thoughts. Suddenly, Bakugo pulls it out of my ear and puts it into his. I look at him before shrugging and taking mine out.
"Your taste in music sucks."
"You can suck my di-"
"No thanks."
For the past couple of days before our internships, Bakugo and I have been spending ample amounts of time together. This was rather unexpected, but he had been walking me home and what not. Forcing me to sit with him and his other friends, however, I didn't mind.
The time for our internship was approaching, however, I still haven't picked which agency I wanted to go to. As Bakugo and I were walking out of school, I finally ask him.
"What agency are you planning on going to?"
"Best Jeanist."
"The number four hero? That's cool."
"Where are you going?"
"I honestly I don't know," I say while rubbing the back of my neck. "Do you not have any hero you really like?" I shrug. "Not really. I don't care. I get a decent amount of heroes who want me, but all of them, I could care less about." I laugh.
