Variety shows are so weird

I'll never understand them

I'm guessing you're not a fan of being on them.

You don't have to be funny. What makes it awkward?

The hosts I feel don't really care about us, I mean sure they'll go through the motions of the bit but any chance they get they try to get information about BTS from us

Min:

Yeah, it's really upsetting honestly

Our group has talked about it before but sometimes it seems we're only invited because they want information about them

Like the one we did today, we were supposed to talk about our comeback a little bit and then do a dance game, but when we'd talk about either a song or do a dance they'd always compare us to BTS and it just gets on all of our nerves

I just wish they were able to separate our groups, it's bad enough that we already feel like we're riding off of their fame, but not being able to do anything without out being compared to BTS makes it worse

Min:

Do you guys actually feel like that?

That we didn't actually earn our place in the industry? Yup, we sure do

Most people don't really care about us, they care about the company we came from and who else came from it

Min:

I'm sure your fans don't think like that though, they like you for not because of BTS.

Have you brought any of this up to your management?

Yeah but we're waiting to see how stable our fanbase actually is before we do anything because it might mean that we stop doing those types of appearances and probably resort to how BTS does things

I hope everything works out well for you, it must be terrible to constantly be compared to another group after how much time and hard work you put into everything.
