She Was The One

Tristan's POV

I wake up early on Saturday, I couldnt sleep, I kept thinking that I needed to tell lauren but I didnt know when... all I know is that I can't, and I don't want to break her heart, I don't want to see the makeup running down her face.

I lay in bed just thinking until I decide to get up. I head into the living room and sat on the couch, just thinking. I scroll through all the photos on my camera roll, all the memories that me and Lauren have had, I dont want to loose that.

"Tris, are you okay" Brad says, coming in and sitting next to me

"yeah, im just confused" i say

"why?" he asks

"well i dont want to tell Lauren that we are leaving, I don't want to break her heart" I say

"Dude, Its only a few months, Imagin how i felt when i had to tell charlotte that i was going back to London, she was heartbroken... i still remember that day... her face" he says

"okay, I will tell her the next time I see her" I say before me and Brad go back to our seperate bedrooms for some more sleep, But like I can't sleep.

We go to the girls dorm for pizza and a movie. I knock on the door, Charlotte opens the door not making eye contact with me, I can automatically tell something's wrong.

I walk into the living room and sit next to Connor, because Lauren is nowhere to be seen.

"Where's Lauren?" I ask

"Oh, erm she's in her room" Elise says

"Thanks" I say.

I head towards Lauren's room and a rush of guilt hits me, I hope she hadn't already found out.

I open the door to see Lauren with her back to me, she turns around and I see her face, her eyes were red and her makeup has run, she's been crying.

"What's wrong?" I ask, she doesn't answer,

"Lauren, talk to me, I'm your boyfriend" I say.

"Why didn't you tell me you were leaving for America, for a few months" she asks. I'm shocked, speechless even, how did she find out!

"I was afraid that I would loose you" I say

"You won't... I just need to know stuff like this, considering I'm your girlfriend, remember?" she says

"Okay, I should have told you...but..but how?" I say

"You don't have to take me on a date or anything... it's just I would appreciate it if you had of told me, instead I find out through my best friend!... I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU!" she starts to shout,

"Lauren calm down" I say

"I CAN'T TRIS, I just can't.... I think best if you leave" Lauren says.

I'm shocked, I quickly get up and slam the door behind me, everyone is looking at me, they must have heard. I run out of the girls dorm, I keep running until I reach my car, I get in the car and start driving, I don't know where I'm going.
