"Should we wake them" Tris whispers
"No wait" Connor whispers.
I heard whispers from my friends and I opened my eyes to see them all crowed around me and Charlotte. We must have fallen asleep in the lobby, never a good idea.
"What have you done now" I ask looking towards Connor who was typing away on his phone.
he laughed then looked up towards me
"check Instagram" is all he said.
I looked over to Charlotte and she was scrolling through her Instagram until she came across a photo of me and her... asleep.
"Oh Connor your gonna get it!" I say
"Yeah Condora the explore, you better watch it" Charlotte says
"Anyway, why are you guys asleep here in the lobby?" James asks
"Oh umm" char says
"hmm has someone apologized?" Lauren states
I turn towards Charlotte and we both laugh and nod at the same time.
"So why are you guys in the lobby taking pictures of people sleeping?" Charlotte asks point to the picture on Instagram that has already gotten tons of likes.
"Oh we were looking for you and wanting to know if you want to go paint-balling...it was Tristan's idea" Luca states
"Yeah sounds like fun" I reply
"Cool, now i can get Connor back" char says with a cheeky grin. "But let me get changed first" she says looking down at her track pants and a hoodie.
"Nah you guys look cute with your matching beanies and track pants" Lauren says.
"Okay but on another note why are we going?" I ask
"Oh.. it's for your birthday, because this is one of the last times we will be together" Elise says
Charlottes face looks shocked
"What is it char?... don't tell me you forgot my birthday" I say
She nods "I knew there was something I was forgetting" she replies
"Come on guys, you can finish this conversation later, so we better go otherwise we will be late!" James says breaking this conversation.
"Okay but I'm not done with you" I say picking Charlotte up and throwing her over my shoulders.
She screams "put me down!" she says as I run outside and place her down in the car.
"You happy now?" I ask her
"Very" she smiles

Charlottes POV:
We arrive at the paintball place and immediately get given a safety Briefing, then we get our gear and start to put it on.
"James I think you should do it topless" Elise says grinning
he laughs then gives Elise a big hug.
We sort out our teams which are
Orange
Brad, Charlotte,
Lauren and Tristan
Blue
Elise, James,
Luca and Connor
We got given our paintball guns then started walking out to the field.
"I'm nervous" I say
"Don't worry I will protect you" Brad says grabbing my hand then entwining our fingers.
"This is why I love you" I say, turning around then starring into his helmet.
"Come on slow pokes, hurry up" James yells
"Or we will shoot you" Elise adds
"Our friends are so kind" Brad says sarcastically
I laugh then we run to catch up with the others. The instructor tells us the rules of the game, then each team heads to opposite sides of the arena.
I run up behind brad and grab his hand.
"Char your really nervous aren't you" he asks
"Well not as much as Luca, besides I've done it before at Elise's birthday, and again at my brother birthday" I reply
"Well you should be the expert then" Brad says
I roll my eyes at him
"Orange team re you ready!!" The instructor yells
"Yes!" We all scream
Moments later I heard coming from the distance "blue team are you ready... Yes!"
Then the instructor counted down and we raced off. Brad and I hid behind a barrier.
"This is fun" brad says
I laugh "yeah happy birthday babe" I say smiling.
The rest of the day was lots of fun and laughter, I got shot twice and I shot Connor and Elise. We handed our jumpsuits and helmets back, then headed towards the car.
"Fun day we had today" Brad says
"Yeah, it was great.." I say
"What...what's the matter?" He asks
"It's just when I get back I have to pack up immediately, then I have to go to ne-" I was interrupted by Brad kissing me, it was sweet and passionate, like he missed me.
"Don't worry about it, you mean the world to me and I want you to be happy, no matter what you or I do"
"Thanks Brad, why do you always know what to say?" I ask
"1 I'm your boyfriend" he says kissing my cheek
"2 I care about you, a lot" he adds kissing my other cheek
"and 3 because I love you" he says before kissing my lips.
"I love you too" I say smiling
"Guys come on.. hurry we need to get back to the hotel" Tris yells
"Coming" Brad shouts, as he grabs my hand then we both run to the car.
"What took you guys so long" Luca asks
"Oh.. nothing" I reply, "which reminds me can you guys drop me off at the mall, I have to pick something up" I say.
"Oh, what is it?" Brad asks with a cheek grin.
"Brad don't ask, it maybe her time of the month" Lauren says,
"Lauren!" I moan
"Wait dose that mean no-" I covered Brad's mouth before he could say anything else
"Anyway, James can you drop me?" I ask
He looks through the rear vision mirror then nods.
"Thank you James" I say smiling, as I cuddle up next to Brad, ready for the long car ride.
"Thanks guys I will see ya soon" I say getting out of the car.
I race inside and straight to the nearest clothing store, then towards target for a few extra things.
Of course I can't resist going to Starbucks to get a coffee. I sit down at a table waiting for my order, as I scrolled through Twitter and Instagram, checking up on Connors picture.
"Oh My Gosh, Charlotte is that you?" I hear a familiar kiwi accent say. I tilt my head up only to see a face I most certainly didn't want to see again.
