"Huh" Scott said with a smirk "Well that's super easy for us, barely an inconvenience"

"Okay, we will just have to wait until the attack, keep a low profile and steal the scepter after the portal closed" Tony said, trying his best to keep calm

"Why can't we help? And why wait?" He asked, and Tony rolled his Eyes

"You don't Think they will be confused by two Iron Mans and a giant guy in a weird suit? And if we take the scepter Before the portal will Close, then the others will have some problems with aliens and a Power crazy god" Tony murmured

"I thought Loki was on our side?"

"Yes, but this is the past" Tony replied.

The street seemed calm so far, no gods flying around and no aliens invading.

"I suggest we hide somewhere inside the tower until the coast is clear and, and take the scepter while past you and the others handle past Loki. Instead of Hydra I mean" Scott suggested

"That-" Tony wanted to criticize the small man, but in all honesty, he couldn't find many flaws in the plan "-Could work"

"Yeah I know I- Wait really?" He sounded surprised, and Tony couldn't help but chuckle. "Wow, I guess I am smart"

"Or just a quick thinker Lang, come on" Tony said and actually smiled.

He dropped the newspaper back on the ground and started running towards the tower. His past self should be in a SHIELD helicarrier and Pepper on her way to D.C, so the tower should be empty.

Still, when he entered the building there was still someone who greeted them

"I'm sorry, but Mr. Stark is busy at the moment" A voice rang and Tony jumped slightly

"Jesus Jarvis, warn a little would ya?" Tony said and laughed lightly.

It had taken him a few seconds to remember that the voice was Jarvis and not Vision who, in their timeline, was "offline". Shuri had told them that she could fix him, but she needed to Mind Stone that was more important than they thought

"Mr. Stark?" The AI asked

"Nice to hear your voice again J"

"Steve, what are you even going to say to them?" Natasha whispered when they got closer to the SSR base "That you're from the future and need to infiltrate Hydra to get the Tesseract? I don't really think they'll like that"

"What choice do we have?" He stopped and turned towards her "We need the Tesseract, and they can help"

"I bet they won't believe you" Natasha mumbles

"You have to stop with all the bet making" Steve chuckles and Natasha nudges his side

"How about...no" Natasha said and entered the base together with him "Are past you here by the way?"

"It's the twenty third February 1945, the day Bucky died. I'm away on a mission" Steve stumbles on his words, and Natasha grabs his hand. He gives her a thankful smile before he continues "The plane crash will be due tomorrow, so we have very little time"

"Well then, let's hope they believe us" Natasha sighs and opens a door.

Well inside were two people. A man that was in the middle of making something and a woman that sat on a table beside him looking through some files.

"Can I help you?" The woman asks without looking up from the files.

"Yes, I believe you can" The man and woman both looked up at the sound of Steve's voice
