'S.Morgan'

"I need to go, alone." Tiningnan lang namin si Seth na nag-aayos ng jacket niya habang nasa tapat siya ng pinto.

"Will you be fine?" Tanong ni Joshua sa kanya at agad naman siyang tumango. I just looked at Seth who was rushing things. "Watch out for Xinny. I'll be back." 'Yun na ang huling sinabi niya at umalis na siya. Pag-alis niyang ay bigla nalang nakaramdaman ng kakaiba kaya hinawakan ko agad ang dibdib ko.

Huminga ako ng malalim at kinalma ang sarili ko tsaka tumingin sa pinto na bukas parin dahil sa pagmamadali ni Seth ay nakalimutan na niya itong isara. Tumayo nalang ako at lumapit sa pinto tsaka sinara ito.

"Isn't this a bit insulting for my part?" I just gave a Matthew a confused look. We're in the school library at gumawa siya ng shield para makapag-usap kami na hindi tinataasan ng kilay nung librarian. I came here to talk about Jun and what's wrong with him. Hindi ko rin naman madatnan si Milo kasi may ginagawa na naman siyang software. I can't bother him right now.

And since Matthew's available and considering that he's one of the members that I'm close with—even when I'm close with everyone—Matthew just knows what to say at times like this.

"Insulting? By means of what?" Tanong ko sa kanya. The corner of his lips just perked up and waved the question away from his face.

"Nothing. So, you mean to say that Jun is acting weird just because he sneaks into your bed at night?" I almost choked on my spit just because of that question. He put it in a very weird way kaya nakita ko siyang natawa lang. "Okay, let me rephrase my question. So, you think something is bothering Jun and he won't tell you what it is?" Now that's a more suitable question. Tumango kaagad ako bilang sagot sa tanong niya.

"So, you came to me to ask me to read his mind?" Tanong niya dahilan para mapaisip ako. I never really thought of that. I just came here to talk to him about it. "You know that he's a King now, right? That I can't just read his mind without his permission." He said, not as question but as a fact. Mahina lang akong natawa.

"Hindi ko naman hinihingi ang bagay na 'yun. And even if there are no laws about reading a King's mind, I still won't let you read his mind just like that. We'll be trespassing and I want him to tell me about what's bothering him, not take it out of him forcibly." Matthew just raised an eyebrow at me. He leaned closer but I wasn't fazed. Tiningnan ko lang siya na parang binabasa ang isip ko kahit hindi naman mangyayari 'yun. Matthew then flicked his tongue and slumped back on the chair.

"You won't let me read his mind and you want him to tell you on his will. Bakit ako ang kinakausap mo ngayon? Shouldn't you be talking to him right now?" Napanguso lang ako sa sinabi niya pero nabigla nalang ako nung mahinang hinampas ni Matthew ang labi ko gamit ang isang piraso ng papel na nirolyo dahilan para tingnan ko siya. "Don't pout. You're a sin waiting to happen." In ordinary days, I should be deciphering what he meant by his words pero wala akong ibang maisip kundi kung anong bumabagabag kay Jun. Even Seth noticed his actions, but he kept quiet.

Nangalumbaba nalang ako sa mesa at bahagyang nag-isip. Matthew was clearly thinking as well. And yes, I need to get the words out from Jun pero bakit si Matthew ang kinakausap ko? Well, I haven't spoken to Matthew in a while like this, so I guess we could catch up a bit.

"Bakit ka nga pala nagpaiwan dun sa detention room?" Tanong ko sa kanya pero ngiti lang ang binigay niya sa akin. And with that smile, I already knew what he did. Umupo ako ng maayos at tiningnan si Matthew na dahan-dahan nang nawawala ang ngiti sa mga labi niya. Right, there was another girl who was with us at the detention room. And Matthew and the girl alone in the room, I can only imagine what happened next.
