Snows Pov

I suddenly woke up on the germ covered road in an alleyway. I touched the cut on my cheek and flinched at the painful zing. I decided it was better to not touch the wound. Then it dawned on me, I was all alone. I quickly looked around the alleyway, praying that Mommy would be there. To my relief I saw Mommy, I quickly ran over to her and hugged her tightly.

She wrapped her arms around me, I felt her shaking and her tears drop onto my hair. She tilted my head up so I was looking into her eyes. She smiled softly and whispered "Hey Little Prince, Mommy needs to go now... Daddy and I won't see you for a very long time. Just remember this, no matter what happens we will always love you"

I felt my heart shatter to pieces, I couldn't help but whimper out "D-Don't leave m-me Mommy!"

I felt her body tense up as her voice cracked painfully. "I have to baby I have to... I have to go help Daddy"

I started to scream "No! I need you! I need you Mommy! Don't leave me alone! You and Daddy promised me! If you leave.. If you leave I'll never forgive you!!'"

She smiled sadly and started to back away from me "I will always love you".

Once Mommy was out of my sight, I heard loud footsteps and yelling. Soon I couldn't even sense her anymore, she was gone but she saved me. My body collapsed onto the cold harsh ground as I started to sob. I couldn't help but think that they lied to me. Mommy and Daddy lied to me! They promised they would never leave me but they did, they lied!

I sat there for what felt like hours alone, just sobbing and sobbing.

Finally I had run out of tears, I curled up against a trashcan and just stared at the entrance of the alleyway. As if half expecting Mommy and Daddy to pop out and just "Surprise, Little Prince!". Instead all I got was the bustling sounds of the cars around me and the strange silence of the alleyway.

Just as the sky began to darken, Something felt strange really strange.. and not a good kind of strange either. I didn't know what that feeling was so I just ignored it and continued to stare.

Suddenly, like a clash of lighting a scream ripped itself free from my throat. A scream of pain, it felt like my heart was being stabbed over and over, many times. I held my chest as I continued to scream, tears gushing down my cheeks.

I cried for my dead mother

I cried for my dead father

I cried for my happiness, which has been abruptly snatched away from my fingertips.

"Mommy.. Daddy.." I laid on my back and faced the moon, which was surprisingly bright.

I couldn't help but wish to join them so I wouldn't be alone anymore. The feeling of utter loneliness began to set and it held me tight.
