4. Compliments

Yes, you read it right.
It's a rant on a gesture,
Which many get.
For some, thousands by the night,

But for a human like me it's rare,
And I hate that fact specifically.
Despise the truth,
that I am called beautiful
only by my family.

Compliments...
When I get them I blush.
My blood starts to rush,
The feeling so foreign to my mind and body,
I doubt anyone can understand me.

I honestly feel they are lying,
I mean come on,
Out of the people they choose me??
Can't they not see?
Don't get me wrong, I am grateful truly.
I just don't see ,what you like enough to compliment, in me.

Before I leave, I would like to say
Please don't be one of those people who treat praises like trash and throw them away.
You don't know what it means to people like me,
People who think they are petty.

Where a simple sentence like 'you seem nice'
Makes them smile,
Makes the sway,
Makes them dance
and makes their day.

AN: ok for the few people who actually read this but haven't noticed, I actually write out my feelings. I didn't expect any views tbh. Let alone some praises on this book.

And ik this is not what other authors do, but this my first book to receive actual reads and compliments. So I wanna thank you

It's all you (my first person to compliment this book, and the reason I may have written this chapter). Thank you.

And to all the others who read this before and still do. Thank you. I really purple you 💜

 I really purple you 💜
