10. Bestfriends

The cold wind was blowing,
Music blaring
While the campfire was burning.
Everyone was enjoying.
Everyone was smiling.

Until suddenly one of the class's hopeless romatic,
Decided to play a slow cheesy song,
Which when the couples heard,
They stood up to dance along.

And thats when it got awkard between him and her.
Two close bestfriends
Whose hearts beat for each other,
Just kept looking around,
Or keeping their gaze on the ground.

She wanted him to ask her for a dance,
He was not sure if he even had a chance.

Poor little teenage hearts.
Hearts that were so pure
But brains that were too dense.

And like always some handsome came to her,
Confidently asking for her company.
Tired of waiting, she gave him a last glance,
Before taking the strangers hand reluctantly.

And there he stood alone again,
With cup of cola.
Then came stupid Lola.
Throwing herself at him,
Trying her level best to seduce,
While all his mind could think
Was of a way of getting his bestfriend, his muse.

Another opportunity faded away,
All cause of doubts and insecurities.
Without which, there could have been a beautiful love story.

AN: i aint that lucky to even have a guy look at me. But i noticed this with happen with my friends. So...
