11. Rich vs Poor

Branded dresses,
Expensive wine.
A thousand of people,
All here to dine.

But I feel I am the only person who respects the food,
The only people who cares about making real relationships.
The rich snobs just chew on a leaf,
While planning to making connections
Which only brings them more lavish green.

Why do people even desire to be like this?
To sell your lively soul,
Just in order to get a pot of gold?

The melodies play along,
But no ones feet are tapping.
A few skilled dancers,
Showing off their skills.
While their faces show no emotions,
No trill.

I rather be in a cheap club,
With the people I can count on,
Having cheese puffs and
Cheap beer all night long.

Dancing through my ripped jeans.
Clicking pictures through an old nikkon,
Making memories,
Smiling truthfully,
Rather than adoring money.
