Imagine: You were over at the Curtis house for one reason, your older brother Dally was in jail. Dallas was only older than you by a year. You wake up on the couch and get up and go into the kitchen to make waffles. Darry, Soda, and Pony come racing down the steps at the smell of waffles and bacon. "Morin' boys!" I go to check the waffles and when I turn back to the bacon Pony, Soda, and Darry had taken one that I had already cooked. "You boys!" you sigh and shake your head. That's when Johnny, Steve, Two, and Dally come in! When you see your brother you hand the plate of waffles and spatula to Darry and run to hug your brother. "I thought you had another month!" "Naw! They let me out early for good behavior." Darry had already set the table, so everyone sits down and continues talking.
