"I thought you left" Silver said failing to sit up. His voice sounded breathless.
"I thought I did too..." I admitted.
"I promise I'll be back, I just need to see Firefly."
I walked down to the grass, my wings drooped, and I dragged my tail in guilt.
"She should be up by now" He said.
"Get her off the ground, she said your embrace was stronger than any plant." I replied.
He took her off the grass quickly, we waited.
"Quicksilver." She whispered, her eyes struggling to open, and her voice desperate to speak.
"Told ya" he replied his voice still sounded broken.
