"Hey, I know what will make you better." I said.

He nodded. I showed him my sketch of Peter when he first met Silver.

He smiled contently.

"Are you sure you don't want to leave?"He asked.

"For the millionth time Silver, no."

"I made a promise to never leave you."

"I know but now it feels like you could be out there in the sun running through the forest."

"Yeah, but without you, Peter, and Firefly it's no fun."

"You could at least open the door" He said.

"But you hate lot's of noise" I replied.

The doors opened to the mini mutant hospital.

"You should be able to walk." Hank said. A grin spread across Silver's face, looking directly at me.

He excitedly got onto his feet and fell face-first onto the floor.

"He said, you should." I laughed.

I zipped up his leather jacket and gripped the sewn on straps of the leather. Opening the window I flew out and over the grassy lawn. He spread his silver wings and raised his ears.

"Thanks." He whispered.

"Anytime."
