Y/n continued to fry the rice in his pan. He then turned around quickly and flipped a soft pancake, but not before mixing the cheese with the scrambled eggs he was cooking. He was the only chef in a maid cafe making his orders hard to maintain. But despite all of the torture he was putting himself through.

The bell rang at the counter and Y/N began the next orders.
Rena: Jeez....I find it amazing that you're able to deal with all of this pressure!
Y/N turned to face his childhood friend Rena.

Rena sighed and grabbed the food Y/N had just cooked. He had only been working in this cafe for 2 years and he really had grown.
Random Guy: This place is great! Not only do we get cute maids but we also get super good food here. This place is perfect!

Y/N simply chuckled and turned back to the kitchen.

Y/N began to clean off the grill and he could hear Rena sigh.

Y/N leaned over the serving window and watched Rena clean off the tables. She glanced at him.
Rena: Are you going to help?
Y/N: Do I have toooooooooo?
Rena threw a broom at him as a response. Y/N pouted and got to work.
Rena: Hey Y/N...?
Y/N: Yeah?
Rena: Do you remember the day we first met?
Y/N: Y-Yeah what about it?
Rena: Do you....remember the promise we made to each other?

Y/N: R-Rena?
Rena: NEVER MIND OKAY!
