don't you dare.
Another day of school ended. Namjoon let the class play around in the classroom before the bell rang for the kids to go home, which many were excited to leave except for Jangmi. Jangmi, who held onto Namjoon's sleeve, felt a little uneasy. Her stomach churns slightly as she feels as if someone is watching her without Namjoon's notice.
Namjoon began bidding his goodbyes to his students and waving at their parents as he let's go of Jangmi's hand. He crouched down to hug and high five the kids who enjoyed their day. A bright smile on his lips whilst Jangmi stands beside him, shifting side to side by the balls of her feet. Her hair clip helping to show her slightly worried face, her eyes narrowing down at the concrete.
"I'll be back, Jangmi. Okay?" Namjoon says to the little girl, getting up as a parent calls him over. "Why don't you wait with your other classmates?"
The woman who called him over didn't seem like she wanted to talk about something important, judging by the way she fixed her hair and applied more lipstick. Namjoon knew it too, but she was the mother of one of his students.
"... Okay," Jangmi nods shyly, watching as the tall man walks away.
She wanders to those who seem familiar to her, standing right beside the front office door. Glancing back at Namjoon, hoping he'd come back. Starting to feel more uneasy after a while.
She needs her daddy now.
Someone crouches in front of her, making her step back. A man, unfamiliar - he had stubble and eyes that resembled ones of a scary dog to Jangmi. All black, just like what Papa wore when he went to work.
"Hey sweetheart," the man says, his face couldn't be distinguished. She's never seen him before. "I'm your dad's friend, he asked me to pick you up today since he was call in for work. Come with me, I'll bring you home."
She was wary. Papa restrictedly makes their chauffeur drop and pick up Jangmi to and from school. No one else is allowed to drive her.
He doesn't look like the chauffeur.
She takes a moment to reply, starting to tremble. "Bennie's only allowed to pick me up," she says, "... Good-goodbye."
He grabs her small arm. "Bennie's out sick today," the man shakes his head, "Come on, your mom is waiting at home."
She quickly glanced at Namjoon, her eyes growing wide. Her face slowly gets pale, trying to pull her arm back. She can't find him, why can't she find Namjoon?
Her mother doesn't live with them.
She's snatched by the waist, and Jangmi's face contorted into a face of terror. Her hair clip slipping, hair falling over her pale face. She was getting prepared to scream loudly, the people around them were too focused on their own children to realize what's going on.
"P-Pa-"Her hair covers her eyes as she heard the man grunt. Abruptly being put down, noticing the man's knees dropping harshly against the concrete. Her feet touched the ground, and she could no longer feel an arm wrapped around her waist.
She turns around, the hair clip dangling down her messy hair.
"Don't you ever dare," Namjoon growls, holding the man down on his knees. He's behind him, one hand holding his head up with his hair, the other pressing on certain areas of his neck. The man's face turned into agony, mouth agape from shock. Pressure points.
Namjoon crouches down, slamming the man's down into the concrete. Grabbing his arms with one hand as the other still holds him down. He whispers something in his ear, something Jangmi can't hear.
"You're from the West gang aren't you? Do you know who the fuck I am?" Namjoon hisses in ear, "Answer you bastard." His only reply from the man was an incoherent gurgle of a painful 'yes'.
"Let's get straight to the point, If I hear one single kid from around here get kidnapped. You're going to be the first person I find and fucking kill. Do you understand? I'll make the whole west gang perish and it'll be all your fault."
"Ye-Yes," The man stutters, drool leaving his lips.
"Good," Namjoon looks up to give Jangmi a reassuring smile before calling over a teacher so they can call the police.
A shaking Jangmi flinches was a hand is placed on her shoulder. She turns.
"Bennie!" Jangmi cries, clinging onto the familiar man.
Namjoon looks over at Bennie with a firm nod. Familiar with the chauffeur as well.
"... Take her home safely, okay?"
