"... Yoongi hyung, come eat."Jungkook took out come containers out of a bag. He was still in his school uniform, he went straight to the hospital right after school - it's always been like that. His tired eyes were from academics and the late nights he'd have with Yoongi nowadays. "... Mama was worried you weren't eating, so she made us some dinner today... She misses you a lot, you know? You need to come home..."
Yoongi rose from his resting position beside the hospital bed, his tired eyes squinting. He groans, yawning as he lets out a back-cracking stretch. "... Sorry, I'll come home to shower and get some clothes then come back here."
"... It's better if you just come back and rest," The younger one sighs, pulling out a table from the hospital room's small closet. Placing it next to Yoongi, so they could eat with Hoseok. "... Mama still cleans your room whenever she can even though you haven't come home."
He hands Yoongi a pair of chopsticks before opening the containers to let out the fresh smell of cooked food - something Yoongi hasn't ate in a while.
Jungkook pulled up a chair beside Yoongi, sitting beside his brother. "... How is he?"
Yoongi dug into the food, starving for some of his mother's missed food. "... He's losing weight," he says, stuffing his mouth. "The doctor doesn't know when he'll wake up. If he doesn't wake up anytime soon, they might have to put a feeding tube in him."
"... Oh," Jungkook looked back at Hoseok, who struggled to breathe in an oxygen mask. Eating his food quietly, he felt heavy in the somber tension within the room. "... What about the mortala? Did Seokjin ever..."
"... No, he never came back here," Yoongi says, leaning over for a glass of water. Jungkook didn't hesitant to pour him a glass. "... We lost men that night, men who had families. We'll have to pay for the funeral bills with the money we have left, but we're running out..."
"... I... I can do the deals in the meantime," Jungkook says, putting his chopsticks down. "I swear I can, I'll do whatever I can to help. I will. Yoongi hyung, let me help."
"... Drug deals aren't safe, that's why Jjang always took care of them," Yoongi sighs softly, "He made sure the boys came home in one peace. It's not that I don't think you're ready, I'm saying it's for the safety of you and the others. Jungkook, every-time one of our men die... We still have to take care of the loved ones they left behind."
"... I-I don't know how we're going to get all that money," he continues, taking a piece of meat between his chopsticks and placing it on Jungkook's plate. "If Seokjin won't step up, this gang is going to burn out..."
"... No, no. We're not gonna let that happen," Jungkook shook his head, "We... We'll think of something, I know we will. We have to do this for Namjoon hyung, think about what he would do!"
"... He's not here, Jungkook-"
"... Yeah, but think about it-"
"He's not here." Yoongi sighed, placing his utensils down on the table. "... We've been falling apart ever since he was taken."
"... We can steal from my principal."
Yoongi looked at Jungkook with bewilderment. "What? Why would we do that?"
"... It's a Robin Hood situation," Jungkook shrugs, "There's been rumors he's been taking the school's funds to pay for hours at a brothel in Hongdae. Namjoon hyung might approve if the rumor was true. We can make a plan, take the money, and we're out."
"... That's robbery, Jungkook," Yoongi says, "We're not doing that."
"... Yoongi hyung, we could have at least thirty grand on our hands if we do this," Jungkook wiped the corner of his mouth with a napkin, "We could pay for the funeral bills and still give paychecks for the meantime."
"You'll have to confront Seokjin with this-"
"... Seokjin doesn't need to know," he says, "... Just us. The min brothers."
Jungkook began packing up the now empty containers.
"... The only way we can stop the mortala from falling apart is if we do something about it.."
