Jangmi fell asleep from the anesthesia and painkillers that consumed her pain. She was too drowsy to cry, so she sinks into the blood covered sofa with her hair covering her eyes once more. She was pale, and it was noticeably different from her melanin that genetically belongs to her father. With swollen eyes and the continuous blood soaking bandage, it was necessary that she's left to rest.

Moon left the bathroom with rose scented steam trailing behind her. Her hair is damp, and she dries it with a towel as she walked out barefoot out the bedroom. She treated it like it was her house indicated by how she wore Birdy's clothes.

"... Madam," One of the women bow in respect, "The doctors have done all that they need, your daughter will be fine. She's asleep."

"Your mistress is asleep too," Moon says, closing the door behind her and standing tall in front of the other. "It's best if you leave her be."

Moon walked away as the women obeyed. The two bodyguards stood by the door, believing the woman that killed their own leader.

Moon bent to her knees as she approached Jangmi. Placing the wet towel on the coffee table before placing her warm hand on her daughter's cheek. "Mommy's here," she says softly, "No need to be scared anymore. I won't let anyone hurt you ever again."

Jangmi stayed in deep slumber. She was practically frozen in place, and if she were to move an inch her wound might worsen. Moon left her be.

"I need a blanket for Jangmi," Moon demands, "She's cold."

One of the servants offered her one from one of the closets by the dinning room. Moon snatched it from their hands and shooed by away, tucking in her daughter gently. Not wanting to wake her or pain her wound.

"Emergency!"

The front elevator opened and rapid footsteps chased one of the bodyguards. A group of women were panting and frantically speaking jumbled of words Moon couldn't here from a distance. One of the guards nodded and lifted the safety off her gun. "Guard the mistress's door."

Moon rose from her position, and turned her back. "What's the issue?" She asks, frowning at their volume. "She's asleep, can't you see? Don't raise your voices."

"There's an invasion coming from downstairs, madam," one of the ladies preparing a rifle say. "We're not sure how many are out there, but there's been an attack from the lobby."

"Just call the police," Moon tsked, "It's probablt just some idiots trying to rob the place."

"We can't, madam," She explains, sighing as she filled the gun's magazine with bullets. She takes out a box of ammo from one of the kitchen cabinets, placing weapons and ammo on the island. "This complex is under our mistress's name, we all live in these condos. If we get the police involved, we're exposing the entire syndicate."

"If this is a privately owned property," Moon scoffs, grabbing a pistol from the table. She examines the magazine to make sure it's full before clicking it in and placing the gun in the waistband of her pants under her top. "Then how is it possible for the common to even step foot in this place? Just kill them already."

"A normal person doesn't just show up here with guns and know what they're doing," She says, tossing weapons to groups of women that appear every time the elevator opens. "These are people with experience. This is an emergency."

"Madam," One of the security calls out, and placing a hand on her shoulder politely. "We have to evacuate you and your daughter to the rooftop. This complex wasn't built with an emergency exit, we'll have people follow you for protection-"

Moon glares, swatting her hand away. "I can protect myself, I can't move my daughter," she says, "Look at what state she's in."

"I understand, but we need you to be protected-"

"Madam, it's best if you take the stairs to the roof," The lady by the island says, "Leave whenever you can, we'll meet you there when it's considered safe. I know you can carry your daughter there."

"We have to go," An another group opens the elevator and shouts, "We need everybody on all ground floors! Now!"

"Please, go."
