The last of Birdy's women were panting, some were helping Yoongi gain consciousness. It was prominent that they lost, everybody was covered in blood and bruises. The rest of them were being prayed to for condolences.
Taehyung staggered over to Jimin, struggling to pick him up off the pile of bodies. Jimin gurgled in aching pain, coughing out blood with extreme agony written all over his face. Jimin couldn't breathe properly, his chest was shaking with slow breaths. His shirt was soaking in his own blood, it meant Taehyung had to be quick.
Daeun was the first to get up, helping Jimin into Taehyung's arms. "It's okay, he's got you," she says, "Go! I'll gather the others and meet you downstairs."
Jimin screamed in pain when Taehyung hoisted him into his arms. Taehyung struggled to keep him up, but he used all his strength to carry him. He kicks the rooftop doors open, and intends to sprint down all staircases down to the van.
"D-Daeun!" Taehee calls out, she's checking Yoongi's pulse and luckily it's still there. "He's not waking up, what do we do?"
"I'll carry him," Daeun says, "Just get everybody downstairs now!"

I'm going to die alone, aren't I?
The heart monitor beats rapidly, the sound going haywire from Hoseok's body failing him. His unconscious state is slipping away, his fingertips were never able to move under his coma.
The doctor and nurses caught notice of the noise and rushed to his room. The nurses pull the curtain to the side to reveal the patient's body, Hoseok's unmoving. His heart monitor is screaming at the team.
... For some reason, it feels less scary this time.
"Code blue!" The doctor orders, causing two of the nurses to exit the room in a hurry. "I need scissors!"
The nurse fumbles with her pockets to find what the doctor needs and passes it to him. The doctor begins to cut off Hoseok's hospital down to the chest and up. "I need that defibrillator now!"
Maybe it's because I'm asleep...
The monitor is beginning to get closer to a flatline. The nurses run over with the Code Blue team and they prepare the equipment for use. Gel is applied to Hoseok's bare chest. By then the heart monitor had already gone to a straight ring, notifying the team his heart stopped beating.
... But Yoongi...
"Clear!"
I don't want to leave him.
Hoseok's heart refuses to pump. The doctor tries again.
"Clear!"
I don't want to.
"Put the weapon down."
Hoseok turned around, letting go of his sniper rifle and unfastened his pistol from his belt. He automatically turned around and instantly aimed it towards the man's forehead.
"The only way I'll fear death is if the ones I love disappear first," The man shakes his head and sighs, "Give up, I already caught you. That gang that brought you here is stupid anyways, I already know what's up."
"... Are you suicidal?" Hoseok wasn't suppose to speak to his targets, it was one of the rules he was taught when he was little. For some reason, he felt like he needed to. He wanted to, but his voice was just so numb. He didn't like that, but he never learned how to speak with emotion.
The man laughed, and that confused Hoseok. He kinda liked that laugh. "No I'm not. Either shoot me now or put the gun down, I could care less about my life if it meant ending it would keep my family alive. I'm not suicidal, I'm selfless."
Hoseok didn't reply. Instead he just stared at the man in front of him. He looked at every feature of his face, remembering instantly what he looks like. He looked exactly like the profile the gang leader showed him: intimidating, angry. But something in his eyes were different, if it weren't for the man's furrowed eyebrows, it looks like his eyes were meant to be gentle to people. Hoseok studied faces growing up, so he knew how facial expressions worked. He knew those man's eyes might crinkled when he smiles or glisten under the moonlight. He wished he had those kind of eyes.
For the first time, Hoseok put the gun down. "... Do you love them?" He asks further, slowly putting his pistol down. His hands fall to the sides of his thighs.
The man laughed again, but soon put his weapon down as well. He looked at Hoseok, confused at the sudden curiosity plastered on his face. It was like he wasn't aiming his weapon towards a hitman seconds before, but facing a little kid who just met something they knows nothing of.
His facial expression softened, and Hoseok was right. "... Of course I love my family," The man says, "That's why I'm selfless."
Hoseok stares at him again. Watching and trying to read his facial expression: but there was no threat, no danger, no warning written on his face. Searching for anything that might say that he was lying. He's trying to buy time. But there was none.
Hoseok sat down in front of the man.
"... Can you teach me what that's like?"
... Yoongi...
"CLEAR!"
The doctor backs up for a moment. Glancing over at the heart monitor in hopes of it to regain stability. "Wait," the doctor says. The room goes silent.
Hoseok's hand flinches. The heart monitor gives a signal, then another one, and another. His eyes flutter wide, and he gasps for air. Unable to sit up, he looks around rapidly as his heart beats drums in his chest. His fingers manage to grip the bedside, still weak but able to hold gently. "... What-Where- Y-Yoongi..." He calls out, wearily, "... Y-Yoongi-ah!"
"Calm down, Mr.Jung," The doctor says, "You're okay. We'll call your primary contact right away-"
