"Mama I'm taking Mimi with me and Cedes." I told her grabbing Amira bag

"How you gon just take my child with you and not ask me ?" She eyed me as Jax sat next to her on her bed

"Jax here and y'all probably want some alone time." I said picking up Amira "Hey baby."

"Where you and Cedes going ?"

"Condo hunting."

"I been thinking lately." She started making me look at her

"About what ? I ain't going back to jail cause the girl ain't pressing charges on me."

"What ?"

"Nothing, what was you about to say ?"

"I'm going to move in with Jax and move up to Nashville."

"Awe for real ?" I asked "I'll be out of your hair soon, Brayden thinking of going down to Florida with Shad."

"I just don't need y'all going damn crazy out of my sight, you know how both of y'all are."

"Brayden worse than me." I told her as I played with Mimi

"Cyan stop lying to yourself."

"Okay, I'm the first one to pop shit off but Brayden be the one to drag shit and make sure he the last one to give a hit."

"See ? Jax don't even think we bad." I shrugged as I heard a horn "Me and Mimi finna be back in about 2 hours."

"Check in with me with my daughter."

"This my daughter, girl bye." I told her walking out the room

I put Mimi in her carseat and opened the front door walking out closing it behind me. I secured Mimi in the backseat before getting the passenger seat.

"So where we going first ?" I asked her

"Unlock my phone and go to notes." She told me handing it over and I noticed it was cracked

"Bitch what happened to your phone ?" I asked

"George threw it."

"Mercedes, I'm not finna preach to you cause I know you obviously gotta have love for you but this here baby ain't love. If a nigga ain't treating you like a queen and having to do too much hitting you, throwing your phone, you need to drop him."

"I try but he pops up and apologize each and every time." She sighed placing her head on the steering wheel

"Baby if he gotta keep apologizing for shit he know ain't right, leave him. I know it's easier said than done but I don't want nothing to happen to you. You can stay with me until you feel safe."
