"Lisa? Jungkook? is that you?"
Lisa looked up to see a surprised Jennie standing near the entrance of
the cafe ,
Jungkook closed his eyes, without turning...
Seems like its all going down today..
Lisa didn't know what to say as she saw her sister walk over to their table muttering death threats at Jungkook off he hurt her.
But more than Lisa, it was Jennie who was in for a bigger surprise,
when she heard that the bruises on Jungkook's body were not from getting hit,
But rather from hitting others.
Lisa narrated the entire incident right from the restaurant till how Jungkook punched the death out of the last of the gangsters .
Her eyes were filled with tears threatening to fall as she thought about how she had loved someone who was hiding himself for the last two years, and she fell to hard, to go back...
Jungkook was still silent throughout.
He could feel Jennie's eyes drill through his head as she glared at him.
"Tell me the entire thing "
Jennie said in a quiet voice, eerily calm.
No more words were needed to make him understand what she meant.
"I - I...... "
He was unable to find the right words to speak.
And Lisa was still silent.
"better open your mouth or else I'll make sure you will never see Lisa's face again. "
It may not sound that bad to others, but to Jungkook , it was like the end of his life,
He could be far from her, but he still needed to see her atleast once....... he couldn't live without her..
And Jennie knew this.
He mustered up his remaining courage to speak the truth.
He knew she will leave him after it, but if that's what fate has decided for them, then let it be....
"I - I used to belong to a gang.........one of the most prominent ones in Korean mafia.. "
"What?!? "
Lisa, who was silent till now spoke in shock, looking at his face, only to see honesty.
"But we left all of that three years ago, we don't involve ourselves in any such things anymore,
We have been living a simple life just like normal people for the last three years."
Lisa didn't reply anything, she still needed some time to process the sudden information she received.
"We? You mean Jimin and............
T-Taehyung's also involved?? "
Jennie was trying to control herself as she spoke his name, something she hadn't done in last two weeks.
"Y-Yes, but since three years we have been normal citizens,
But... "
"but what? Lisa questioned his hesitation.
"Since last few weeks, we have been receiving messages from unknown numbers, threatening to kill us, and drag us back to our past... "
Jungkook explained.
"But why are you even believing them? It could be someone's prank or something!! "
Lisa tried to reason, even though she also knew it wasn't..
"One night Taehyung received a message saying he will be dragged back to his past life and that his loved ones will be harmed.. and the next day..."
"Next day??"
It was Jennie. Her intuition was telling something and she prayed all she could that it should not be true.
"Jjangu........was drugged and beat to death..... "
Jungkook choked out as he remembered his pet's battered and bloody body.
Jennie was already crying, her intuition was right.
Him being so cold,
distant.......
those stares and words as if it was the last ones......
He had got a threat.....
Now she just needs to confirm it.
"W-was that the r-reason he b-broke up with me? "
Jennie asked, tears streaming down her cheeks.....
"WHAT!!?? "
Lisa was shocked....
while Jungkook just looked at her in surprise,
he hadn't known his hyungs had taken such a severe decision....
now that explains his actions in the past weeks...
the sudden leave, locking himself,
starving himself............
He was going to ask something when his phone rang.
