"How did it go?" Josh asked
"I don't want to talk about it."
"Did he kiss you again?! Why that dirty little-"
"JOSH!" Anne interrupted "Nothing happened, I'm fine."
"Then why won't you look me in the eye?" He stopped walking and turned to face me, his eyes full of emotion. I averted my gaze, guilt grabbing hold of me.
"I don't know Josh." The deal weighed heavy on her mind. It's not that big of a deal. Just dinner, trying not to be sick. That's all.
