"S-s-sa-sadiq?" Amra asked her.

"Yes. He is Mufeedah's brother."

"I know." Amra said drily.

"He wants to take me out tonight and I have no idea what to wear. Amra dear, please, pleaseeeee help me." Ya Maryam begged Amra.

"Sure. I'll be there in a bit." Amra smiled at her sister even though she was fuming and she knew she'd kill her sister for betraying her.

But, you don't even like him so why are you angry? The logical voice in her head asked her.

"Amra?" Ameer called.

"Yes?"

"Are you okay?" I feel so broken Ameer. She wanted to say but voted against it.

"I'm fine. Why?"

"You seem furious."

"Nahh."

"Whatever you say. Not that you even like him." Ameer shrugged.

"Yes, I don't. I'm happy for Ya Maryam." She smiled.

"Well, our graduation is tomorrow and then prom." He reminded Amra.

"Omg, that's true. Who's your date?." Amra asked excitedly.

"Well, I asked Jamee-" His sister interrupted him.

"Jameee? As in Jamila?? Ouuuu."

"Yes, Jamee as in Jamila. Who's your date?" Ameer asked with a smirk.

"Nobody."

"Nobody? Meaning?" He rose an eyebrow.

"Whatever. I'm not even going to prom."

"I thought it was every girl's dream to go to prom." He said stroking the zero strands of hair he has on his chin.

"Not mine." Amra said with a faint smile. A hint of sadness in her voice.

"Well, I'm going to my room now." Ameer said and left the kitchen.

Amra got her phone and entered WhatsApp only to see no messages from their class group.
