Song of the chapter: Titanium by David Guetta.
PROM PART 28:30p.m.
We got to Transcorp Hilton at thirty minutes past eight.
Then I saw Sadeeq with....some girl that I didn't seem to know. Was it him or his brother?
"Hey twins." He said to Ameer and I.
"Wassup man."
I couldn't say anything to him so I gave him a smile. He was about to say something when Salim came.
Well, since guys were being guys, they started talking about football but Salim excused himself for my sake.
We both entered the venue and got to our seats. Afterwards, the others joined us at our table.
Time passed really quick. Then Titanium was about to start. How much I love this song.
"Babes, wanna dance?" Sameer asked me.
"You have a date." I reminded him.
"She won't mind."
"Okay."
He led me to the dance floor just when the song started.
You shout it out
But I can't hear a word you say I'm talking loud not saying much I'm criticized but all your bullets ricochet
You shoot me down, but I get upI'm bulletproof nothing to lose
Fire away, fire away
Ricochet, you take your aim
Fire away, fire away
You shoot me down but I won't fall, I am titanium
You shoot me down but I won't fall
I am titanium, I am titanium, I am titanium, I am titanium"Babes, you're titanium. You're very strong." I ignored him.
"Are you ignoring me for this awful song?"
"Awful? You're madd."
Cut me down
But it's you who has further to fall Ghost town, haunted love
Raise your voice, sticks and stones may break my bones
I'm talking loud not saying muchI'm bulletproof nothing to lose Fire away, fire away
Ricochet, you take your aim
Fire away, fire away
You shoot me down but I won't fall
I am titanium
You shoot me down but I won't fall
I am titanium, I am titaniumStone-hard, machine gun
Firing at the ones who run
Stone-hard, thus bulletproof glass
You shoot me down but I won't fall,
I am titanium
You shoot me down but I won't fall, I am titanium
You shoot me down but I won't fall, I am titanium
You shoot me down but I won't fall, I am titanium
I am titanium"That song made my night yo." I said punching Sameer.
"You're so violent."
"I want a pocket knifeee." I said calmly.
"A what?" His eyes would have probably popped out of their sockets because of his surprise.
"A pocket knife." I repeated with confidence.
"Why do you need it?"
"To defend myself." Like duhh.
"You can just scream."
"Well, you know some guys are persistent but when he sees knife he will run away."
"Promise to not hurt me with it?"
