Sorry!

I know this chapter is late, but I've been out of town.

I'm visiting my Nana because she had a small stroke but she still up and moving.

Don't play the song till it says.

Anyway enjoy!

I woke up to my alarm screaming at me.

I rubbed my eyes and got out of bed to feed Liza and take a shower.

When I walked into the bathroom I made my way to the mirror.

I had dark circles under my eyes and my mascara was all over my face. I guess I forgot to take my makeup off when I went to bed last night.

I really don't want to go to school today. I don't want people to see me so weak.

But have to be strong for myself...

I took a quick shower and got dressed. I wore a blank yellow shirt and some black leggings. Then I put my white chucks on and grabbed my backpack before heading out the door.

I made my way to school as I always do. "Hey Ms. Stomper do you need a ride?" Some ass hat said as he passed me, laughing. I sighed and walked faster towards school.

One more day.

Just one more day.

This day has been going by so slow. I was in one of the classes that Forest was in and he has been non stop staring at me.

Like, WHAT BITCH!

I told him to leave me alone yet he just wants to stare at me like a creep. I rolled my eyes at my thoughts.

"Ms. Vanya am I boring you?" Mr. Gayer asked.

Oh shit he saw me roll my eyes!

"Um...No sir. I'm just tired." I whispered hoping he would just leave me alone.

"Yea! Tired off walking up the steps right?" Jacob laughed and everyone started giggling.

I sighed and rolled my eyes and wrote the notes that were on the board.

After the bell rang for the class to be over I got up and made my way towards the door.

"Miss Vanya can I have a moment?" Mr. Gayer asked as he walked to his chair. "Sure," I mumbled and followed him standing in front of his desk.

"You know if there are any problems at school or at home you can talk to me right? I couldn't help but hear the remark Mr. Jacob said. If that makes you uncomfortable you can stand up for yourself in my class and you wont get in trouble for it. He deserves it." He said.

I was astonished. I mean the faculty don't like the bullying that goes around, but no one really stops it. I don't really know if he's just saying that, but it's nice to not be looked down upon.

"That's very kind of you Mr. Gayer, but I think I know how to handle myself. But I will keep your words of wisdom in my head." He nodded and wrote me a late pass to my next period.

It was lunch and I had skipped going to the lunchroom. I just wanted to sing my heart out and be me.

I was going to do a series of songs that I wanted to try and sing for that talent show. I would sing them each day until I found a good one.

Today I was singing Mariah Carey's Bye Bye

(Play Song)

This is for my people's who just lost somebody
Your best friend, your baby, your man or your lady
Put you hand way up high
You will never say bye
(No no no)
Momma's, daddy's, sister's, brother's
Friends, and cousins
This is for my people's who lost their grandmothers
Lift your head up to the sky
'Cause we will never say bye
As a child, there were them times
I didn't get it, but you kept me in line
I didn't know why
You didn't show up sometimes
On Sunday mornings
And I missed you, but what we talked through
All them grown folk things, separation brings
You never let me know it, you never let it show
Because you loved me enormously
And so much more then to say
If you were with me today
Face to face
I never knew I can hurt like this
And everyday life goes on like
I wish I can talk to you for a while
Wish you but try not to cry
As time goes bye
And I'm sure you reached a better place
And still I'd give
The world to see your face
Me right here, next to you
But it's like your gone too soon
Now the hardest thing to do is say

Bye, bye
Bye-bye bye-bye bye-bye
Bye-bye bye-bye bye-bye
Bye-bye bye-bye bye-bye, bye-bye
'Cause this is for my peoples that
Just lost somebody (bye-bye bye-bye bye-bye)
This is for everybody (bye-bye bye-bye bye-bye)
Just lift your head to the sky (bye-bye bye-bye bye-bye)
'Cause we will never say bye-bye

I finished the song.

It reminded me of the day my Dad had died. He was my world, I loved him to pieces and it broke my heart when he passed.

My mom has always been a bitch but he kept her grounded and now that he was gone she could do as she pleased.

I wiped the stray tears that made it's way down my cheeks and got up from the piano.

I turned around and saw

Forest?!

"What the HELL! I told you to leave me alone." I yelled letting a few tears roll down my face.

"Yes, I know, but I didn't feel like it. Vanya you're struggling...hard! But you go through it on your own. You never ask for help and that's amazing, but keeping all of your feelings bottled up like that...it's not healthy."

He walked over and wiped the rest of the wet tears off of my face and...I BLUSHED!
