We walked into Urban Outfitters and I could immediately tell it wasn't such a good idea. Hordes of girls saw Aidan and ran right for him. He rolled his eyes and smiled, all the tension from our fight melting away.

I jerked my head, telling him I was going to shop. He nodded and gestured for me to go. I picked outfits and tried them on, looking for something Aidan would like. Eventually I settled for a tight yellow crop top with spaghetti string straps, black ripped jeans, and a white furry coat. I felt fierce in the clothing and knew it was perfect.

I found Aidan and waited patiently for him to finish signing the autographs. One of the older girls stared at me and whispered something to her friend.

"You're the girl on YouTube, right? The one who sings?" She said.  I glanced at Aidan, then back at the group and nodded. "In that case, can I have yours too?"

"Of course." I said happily, grabbing Aidan's sharpie and signing the receipts they gave me.

Once the crowd had dissipated I showed Aidan the items I wanted to get and he gave me a thumbs up.

"One more thing..." He said, searching the shelves for something. "Ah! Perfect." He picked up a small pair of trendy sunglasses as handed them to me.

Aidan payed for me and I thanked him profusely. I changed into the clothes in the bathroom and we walked back to the restaurant.
"I still can't figure out why your parents got to pissed off."

I remembered how upset they were and grimaced. "We should probably delete the video."

Aidan shrugged. "Whatever you think is best."

We arrived at the bustling restaurant and requested seats in the back. The host brought us to a rather secluded table for two, and used a match to light the candle. I put my chin in my hands and stared at Aidan.

I reached over the table and kissed him lightly on the lips. He kept his eyes closed after I pulled away, so I went back in.

I heard a click and looked around. "Could that be paparazzi?" I hissed. "Do they go after you?"

"Not usually, but it's a possibility."

"I hope not... the way my parents have been acting I bet they'll be really upset if I was in a magazine or something. They wouldn't let me see you again." I remembered something that ruined the mood. "Speaking of that..."

"What?" He said, looking alarmed.

"I'm leaving the city tomorrow evening."

Aidan threw his head back and groaned. "Damnit Leah, I hadn't thought of that."

My heart sunk. "I know."

The waiter came over and took our orders. We spent the waiting time in silence.

Once the waiter brought out our food Aidan sighed. "If we want to make it work, we can make it work."

I took a bite of spaghetti and said, "What do you mean?"

"You live in North Dakota, so I can fly there once a month. Long distance can work until we find something better."

I paused. "Long distance? Wouldn't that imply..."

He smiled. "I thought about that. Before you texted me I was actually out buying this." He reached into his bag and pulled out a little box. "Here."

I opened it and gasped. There was a rose gold ring with a small diamond on it. All it said was promise.

I heard another click but ignored it, too wrapped up in the moment. I slid it on my ring finger and held it out for Aidan to examine.

"It's a promise ring. Cecelia Connors, will you be my girlfriend?"

Another click.

"Yes!" I said tears in my eyes. I stood up and hugged him.

Click.

"Can we leave?" I asked. "There's definitely paparazzi here." He nodded and I gathered my things. He left a hundred dollar bill on the table and I promised to pay him back.

"Let's go back to my hotel." I said. "We can hang in private."

"Sounds good."

We took a cab and arrived at the hotel. My room was a mess and I apologized.

He sat on my bed. "I'm not gonna lie... I'm devastated that your leaving."

I sat beside him. "No ones more upset than me." I inched closer until our thighs touched. "Let's make our last night count."

I touched his thigh and put a hand on his chest. Aidan raised his eyebrows and I pushed him down onto the bed. I sat on his stomach and leaned down, brushing my lips against his neck.

"Leah..." He said gently before putting his hands on my waist and flipping us around.

His knees were on either side of me, his hands keeping my arms pinned above my head. We made eye contact and I nodded, so he kissed me roughly.

His tongue poked my lip and I squeaked in surprise, but opened my mouth. Our tongues danced and I let out a soft moan into his mouth.

Aidan broke the kiss and took his shirt off. I grabbed his shoulders and pulled him back down to me, planting kisses up and down his neck. He groaned and my stomach tingled.

We kissed again and I sat up, placing myself onto his lap. I wrapped my legs around his waist and put one hand on his face, the other in his hair. He put his arms around my waist, and he pulled me closer to him. We fit like a puzzle.

He pulled me even closer and I arched my back, feeling more excited than ever. I put my hands on his face and held on, tighter like it would keep us together. Like holding onto his face was going to keep me from leaving tomorrow.

I finally pulled away and stared at him. He still held my waist, and his mouth was twisted into a dreamy smile. I touched my forehead to his and simply said, "I promise."
