I had a pounding headache.
I came too to the feeling of someone stroking my cheek. I sat up suddenly and someone gasped.
I was on my bed. Aidan was the one stroking me, Betsy was standing next to me. Samantha and Riley were still here so I knew I couldn't have been out long.
"Hey." Said Aidan in a soothing voice.
"Hi." I Said. I was taken aback by the sound of my own voice- meek, small.
"What happened?" Asked Betsy.
"Same thing as my first day here."
Riley piped up. "First day?"
Betsy turned to her and said, "Cecelia's parents were recently arrested. I'm her foster mother."
Samatha spoke quietly. "Oh."I stood up. I didn't feel any dizziness, but I sat down anyway. "I'm ok."
Aidan put his hand over mine and smiled sadly.
"Should we go?" Asked Riley. Her usual laid back comedic demeanor was completely gone. She was completely serious.
"I think so." I Said. "Not that I dont want you here. I just..."
Riley nodded. "I understand."
They left without a word.
Aidan left the room, though I had faith he knew enough to stay at the house. Betsy sat down with a worried scowl on her face.
"Honey I'm nervous..." she said. "What triggered this? How can we help?"
I thought back. "It really started when I thought about my friends. Everything feels wrong I just..." I put my head in my hands. "I don't know how to explain it."
"That's fine." Betsy said. "But next time you feel it happening, I have a strategy for you."
"What is it?"
"Pick a color- any color really- any color how many things you can find in that color in the room. Then how many shades of that color are in the room."
I frowned, feeling like it wouldn't work. But I nodded just so Betsy would feel better.
She left and Aidan came back in. He didn't say anything. He just lay down next to me.
We spooned until I fell asleep.
I woke up and felt something poke my thigh. My cheeks burned as I realized what it was. Aidan was asleep. I didn't know what to do. It filled me with a strange feeling of embarrassment, awkwardness, and exciment all rolled into one.
I fell back to sleep contemplating my emotions.
I woke up and this time Aidan was sitting up on his phone. I felt myself redden as I wondered what had happened while I was asleep.
My headache was gone, so I looked at Aidan. He smiled and turned off his phone.
Putting his hand on my shoulder, he said, "Did you have a good time shopping?" I smiled and nodded, my hair rubbing against the pillow. "Good. You like your friends?"
"Yeah. They seem nice."
"I agree. I was talking with them a bit before, and they pretty much treated me normally. It was odd."
"They're chill."
There was a silence before Aidan sighed. "I want to kiss you." He whispered.
"What's stopping you?"
His voice barely audible, he mumbled, "Betsy is listening."
I rolled my eyes and pointed to the bathroom.
Aidan smirked and said, loudly, "You look pale, Leah."
"Really? My head is pounding... all the noise and lights..." I answered back, catching on quickly.
"Why don't you rest some more? Uninterrupted sleep should do you good."
Aidan stepped lightly to the door and locked it discretely. I giggled at him as he pulled me into my bathroom.
He locked the door and didn't hesitate to press his lips against mine. I opened my mouth and we made out, savoring each other. He slipped his hands around my waist and lifted me onto the counter.
He stood in between my legs, his face level with mine. I went back to kissing him, his hands rooted to my sides while mine explored his body.A/n: Heavy-ish scene here, nothing goes too far Because they are minors. If you are uncomfortable with this you may skip the rest of the chapter.
My face was hot and my head was spinning. His lips were soft and angelic. We broke apart and I pulled his shirt off him. Both of us were breathing heavily.
He paused, grasping the hem of my shirt with his fingers. "Can I-"
I didn't hesitate. My voice was breathy as I said, "Yes." I put my arms up and he pulled the shirt over my head.
We clashed again, out mouths moving separately from our hands. For the first time his hands touched my chest lightly- I gasped before kissing him deeper. He got the hint and allowed his smooth touch to go wherever it pleased.
I centered myself in the moment, feeling his hot cheeks on mine. We moved perfectly synchronized and as one, reading each other's minds.
Something went off inside me and my stomach seemed to explode- I inhaled sharply before pulled him closer to me. Like that first night, all I wanted was for us to be closer. I pulled my arms around him and held him close to my body.
He groaned into the kiss, lighting more fire inside of me. I wrapped my legs around his torso and broke the kiss, now moving my lips down his neck. His breath quickened and he threw his head back.
Suddenly, it seemed to be my turn. He pushed me back and my body hit the mirror. He kissed my collarbone and I let out a breathy sigh. He made eyes contact with me as he put two fingers under my chin. He stood up straight, lifted my face up, and brushed his lips to mine ever so slightly.
He backed away and I waited for more. There was no more. I opened my eyes and stared at the boy in front of me with love.
He smiled slightly and shook his head. He avoided my eyes and said, "Your perfect."
I hopped off the counter and gazed at him. "So are you."
