Y/n's Pov

As I waited on Eddie to finish up with his shower I couldn't help but start to drift back off to sleep. In a matter of a couple of minutes I was asleep again.

I was back there again. What I used to call home. There was the distant sound of laughing coming from an alleyway. I felt myself drawn to it as it sounded familiar. It couldn't be...him. I felt something press against my neck and I froze.

"You tried to leave here. Tried to get away from all this. Well let me tell ya doll. You will never get away from this." Wilson's voice spoke in my ear. Then there was a sharp pain in my side as I fell to the ground. I had been stabbed. I tried to scream but no words came out.

"Y/n? Y/n c'mon!" The voice was familiar however it wasn't Wilson's. It seemed comforting. It was...

I sat up quickly waking up from my nightmare. There was Eddie and Ven staring at me both with concerned looks. I gasped for air as I tried to calm down.

"It's okay you're awake. You're safe Y/n. Look at me," he said putting a hand on my shoulder. I leaned back on the couch finally calming down as I looked at him. His hair was still wet from the shower. He must have grabbed one of my hoodies after he got out then came in here. It was my Iron Man hoodie. Hercules walked over and plopped his head on my lap.

"I'm sorry if I freaked you out. I had a nightmare about that robber," I said not fully lying. I looked down at my sweet comforting dog as Eddie sat next to me.

"Well don't worry. I- I mean we won't let anything like that happen again," Eddie said as Ven nodded. I smiled slightly at that. Ven moved over next to my face pressing against it almost like a cat does their owner's leg. I couldn't help but giggle.

"Thanks you two," I said sitting up, "now how about I make some breakfast?" Eddie shook his head.

"Not this time. I can make something since you fed us last night," he said with a grin. I nodded following him to the kitchen.

"So you used to live in New York right?" I asked. Eddie nodded in response. "Did you ever meet any of the avengers? I mean I know you didn't have an interview with them but maybe you crossed paths before."

"Well, I did come across Thor once. I was at a bar when he walked in with this greasy haired dude. They had a drink and I took a photo with them. Then the greasy dude tried to shank someone so they had to leave," he explained as Venom pulled up a photo on their phone.

     "Holy shit..." I thought.

     "What?"

"That greasy dude, was Loki. Ya know Thor's brother that invaded New York?" I said looking at him.

"I drank beer with a mass murderer...holy shit."

"Eddie-" Venom started before he was cut off by Eddie.

"Nope we are not talking about this right now," Eddie grumbled as he finished cooking. I smiled at the plate of bacon and eggs. They looked pretty good.

"Well I have to give you credit where credit's due." He laughed as we started eating.

- Hours Later -

After resting for the remainder of the day, I took a shower and got ready for dinner with Eddie and Nick. I put on a nicer dress that wasn't too tight. I walked out and stood behind the couch.

"How do you both think I look?" I asked them smiling. The dress was a nice royal blue.

"Shit...you look amazing, Y/n," Eddie replied as Ven nodded.

"Say uh...would you care if I tried to drive your motorcycle? I promise I won't wreak it," I said smiling wide hoping to bribe him.

"Yeah yeah sure," he said in a dazed voice. I cheered and smiled as I grabbed my pack.

"Well c'mon then. You've got to go to your place and change too," I said grabbing his hand. Excitedly I practically pulled him out the door. I hopped on the front of the bike right before he could realize what he agreed to do. He sighed and got on the back of the bike. I've missed driving one of these. It just feels right to be back in the saddle so to speak. I started it up before quickly driving off. I felt him grab onto me but I was too focused on the bike. In fact I was so excited I accidentally missed the turn. I went around the next block to get back to his apartment. After parking in the alley I jumped off and yelled in delight. "It's been so long since I've done that!"

"Why didn't you tell me you could drive a motorcycle?" Eddie asked looking shocked.

"Well I figured I wouldn't be able to drive one again since I left home. Had to sell mine before moving out here. Couldn't exactly fit Hercules on it," I replied with a chuckle. He shook his head with a smile.

"Well come on in I guess. I just hope my place isn't a wreak."
