Henry woke up late the next morning, extremely hungover. He scrubbed a hand over his face and untangled himself from his sheets. Getting up, he immediately regretted it.
"Fuck."
Kal, his American Akita was laying on the bed and looked at him.
"What?"
Kal just tilted his head.
In the bathroom, Henry filled a glass with water and downed it along with two Tylenol. When he looked in the mirror, he groaned. His dark hair was sticking out all over and he had an indent on his cheek from the pillow.
"You're a mess Cavill."
Deciding to take a shower, he turned the water to cold to wake himself up and try to remember what had happened the night before. His mate Colin had suggested they go to a bar. He had agreed, but knew he needed to make it an early night due to the workout he had the next morning.
I missed it.
Flashes of the night before started to reveal themselves. When he and Colin had started drinking, some ladies had noticed them and tried to join in. At first he was annoyed, but went with it. Soon, they had a group of women and men plying them with drinks and taking selfies.
I need to check instagram before my agent freaks out.
Getting out of the shower, he wrapped a towel around his waist and went looking for his phone. After some searching, he found it on the kitchen counter.
Well, let's see the damage.
When he opened his instagram there were loads of tags. Thankfully they were mostly selfies taken by other people. Scrolling through a few, he saw one of himself standing at the bar in what looked like a heated conversation with a pretty brunette...who looked pissed.
What the hell...oh bollocks.
After seeing it, he remembered instantly. Colin dared him to do a few shots of tequila so he went to get them. He had interrupted a conversation between the bartender and the girl, and she gave him shit about it.
Bloody hell, I was so rude.
His blue eyes grew wide.
I asked her to join my fan club. I'm an ass.
He laughed remembering her threatening to break his arm. "She was a spitfire," Henry said looking at Kal. "I really should apologize."
He looked more closely at the picture. She was really pretty in a girl next door type of way. Dark brown hair, quite fair skinned for Florida with fire in her green eyes. Or were they grey?
Putting down the phone, he put some food in Kal's bowl, then got himself some cereal.
When his phone rang, he knew it was his trainer.
I'll get it later.
That's when he remembered.
I gave the bartender my number to give to the girl I was rude to.
Henry grabbed the phone, but none of the numbers were unknown to him.
I wonder if she'll call?
