Henry turned back to the TV then turned to Mia. She looked unsteady.

Taking her shoulders, he ducked his head to look into her eyes.

"Mia?" she looked shocked. "Are you ok?"

Her eyes were teared up and she shook her head.

"No... yes...I don't know."

Henry pulled her in for a hug. She stiffened then sunk into his embrace. Rubbing her back, he tried to comfort her.

"I'm fine," she stepped back and wiped a stray tear. "I was just surprised to see him."

"So that's your ex," Henry asked, turning off the TV.

Mia nodded.

"And he's an actor as well?"

She looked up. "He was. He writes screenplays now," she said quietly. "I'm sorry, I should go."

"Amelia, you can stay the night you know."

She shook her head, her dark hair swinging.

"No, I really want to go home," she said then smiled. "Plus, you never know what might happen if I stayed."

Henry knew what she was implying and as much as he would like it, he understood.

Nodding he said "Let me get my keys."

Mia seemed to be feeling better when they arrived at her apartment complex.

Henry got out of the car and opened her door.

"You're such a gentleman," Mia smiled.

His heart melted and he knew he would do anything to make her smile.

"Eh, I try."

Mia leaned in and he closed the gap, kissing her gently.

Her lips were made for kissing he thought.

The kiss started to become heated and he reluctantly pulled away. He was hard for her but knew she needed her space.

After walking her to her door, she gave him a quick peck on the lips.

"Thank you Henry."

Furrowing his brows, he asked "For what?"

"For being you."

Putting a hand on her cheek, he said "Anytime love."

"Goodnight," Mia said closing her door.

Henry ran a hand through his thick locks then left. When he got home, he turned on his laptop. He needed to know more about this Daniel Gillies.

Looking at his IMDB page he found out he was from New Zealand and starred in a couple of extremely popular shows for young adults.

"Elijah Mikaelson...Vampire Diaries, Originals," he mused.

He heard of the Vampire Diaries but never watched it, nor the Originals.

Turning to Kal, who was laying at his feet, he said "Maybe I should check it out. Seems he was is all of the Originals. Guess I'll start there."

Henry felt a bit like he was prying into Mia's life but he couldn't help it. He had to know more. If he was being completely honest, he wanted to know everything about her.

Pulling up Netflix after sitting on his couch, he groaned when he thought about what he and Mia were doing on it earlier. Shaking his head, he found the Originals and pressed play.

Mia was flustered on so many levels. Henry was wonderful and God she wanted him, but something was holding her back.
