I couldn't tell you how long I was locked away inside that room. Jeanine injected me with so many different serums and shoved countless pills down my throat. First, my senses started to dull down, and slowly, I felt myself start to slip away. My thoughts vanished, and my mind was no longer my own.

Now I have only one thing on my mind. Protect the system. Protect Erudite. Pushing one single faction's thoughts in my mind. Dauntless. Being controlled isn't something I have ever allowed, but now. I have no choice, I only have one desire, to kill anyone who tries to stop Jeanine and her plans. Tied to the chair beside the computer, I was leaning back with my eyes closed. When I heard the doors open, my eyes snapped up and I saw Jeanine walking in with two Dauntless guards that were carrying someone in. "Ah good. You're finally awake." She smiled at me walking over.

Forcefully gripping my face she made me look into her eyes, and she smiled. "How do you feel about Abnegation?" she questioned.

"I.." I thought about her question. "I don't care about them? I only care about Eric and my dad. That's it, why am I here? What is going on?" I asked looking around.

Jeanine smiled backing away. "Oh, nothing you need to worry about. Just keep quiet." She walked back to the computer screen.

"Rose? Do you remember anything from yesterday?" Jeanine asked from the computer screen.

I looked over at her, then at the man who was slumped in the chair across from me. "No." I swallowed. "I don't remember anything..." I furrowed my eyebrows.

"That's a good thing Rose. What do you remember?" Jeanine stopped what she was doing.

Letting out a sigh, I looked to the ground trying to remember. "Eric asked me to marry him. I said yes." I felt my mouth get dry.

Walking over to me Jeanine untied me and headed back to her computer. "Very good." She started touching the computer screen.

Looking up I felt a buzzing in my brain. "Now Rose I am going to go handle a few things... I will be back later for you and that later. Make sure you eliminate anyone who enters besides your father, of course." She smiled turning around and leaving the room.

Once she was gone, I felt a sharp pain in my brain and I groaned. Looking over I saw someone slumped over in a chair. He snapped his head up at me I realized it was Four. Furrowing my eyebrows I shook my head at him. "Four? Why are you here?" I asked.

"Where else am I supposed to be?" He raised an eyebrow.

I thought about his question. "I don't know." I whispered.

Four rolled his eyes at me pulling out a gun. "Look, can we just not talk?" He glared at me.

I scoffed. "Fine." I picked up a dagger and started playing with it in the chair. Everything was quiet until I heard the doors open. Jumping up Four pointed the gun at the door and I was ready to throw my knife.

Entering the room first was Peter, he was gripping his arm but when he saw me he raised his hand in the air flashing a smile. His hand was covered in blood. "Rose. I have been looking everywhere for you." He smiled.

"Stay back or ill shoot." My comrade warned them.

I furrowed my eyebrows. "Do I know you?" I placed my hand on Four's shoulder pulling him behind me.

Stepping in front of Peter, Tris shook her head. "Tobias." she called out to him.

"Yeah... That's not his name anymore." I pointed my dagger at them both. "And I don't know who you two are but I suggest if you two don't want to get hurt you leave. Now."
