I walked into the restaurant where most of men were waiting. I'd bought out the whole restaurant for the day for this meeting.
"What are we doing here?" Gleb asked.
"Having lunch." I said sitting down.
"Why is there an empty seat?" Lev asked.
"Just behave." I said as the door opened.
"F*ck no." Adrian said standing up and reaching for his gun.
"Sit. Down." I ordered.
Vince just smirked.
"His men attacked ours yesterday." Diak hissed.
"No, they didn't." I said as Vince sat down. "The same time his supposed men attacked us, our men apparently his."
"We didn't do a damn thing to him or his men."
"He's knows that. Just like I know that he didn't attack us."
"Someone is setting us all up?"
"Yes."
"Why?"
"They want a war." Vince said.
"But why?"
"The who will lead to the why." I said as the servers brought us some lunch.
"How do we even go about finding out who did this?"
"You start by doing nothing." Vince said.
"Excuse me?"
"You sit and do nothing. Twirl your thumbs or whatever the f*ck you do in your free time."
"Boss?" Gleb asked looking at me.
"He's right. Him and I both have a few people looking into some things. We start there."
"Plus, if we do nothing then whoever is doing this will most likely strike again. If they do then we may be able to catch them in the act as long as our guard is up."
"I have a question about the elephant in the room." Diak said.
"Yes?"
"This....war that's been going on for years, is it over now?"
"We have called a truce." I said making Vince smirk.
"A truce?"
"Yes."
"Why?"
"Because he's f*cking Il Diavolo's daughter." One guy said.
I had to stop Vince from pulling out his gun and shooting him.
"What?"
"Is that true?"
"I have fallen in love with his daughter. I've been seeing her for a while now."
"Must be some good p-"
Before he could finish, a gun went off and a bullet pierced the wall behind him.
