Jade's POV
They were both on their phones. Just texting back and forth.
What was so important that they couldn't talk about it infront of me.
Why am I so worried about?
Its none of my business.
The limo slowed down and then stopped. The driver came by and opened the door for us.
"We have arrived sir." He said.
"Thank you Fredrick. You can go home now." Jax said as her got out.
Jessica got out after him and i took my time.
"You might want to hurry up." Jessica said as she clinged onto Jax's arm. "We are already late as it is."
The turned around and began slowly walking towards the big mansion in front of us.
I glared at the back of her head and clenched my fists.
"Dont worry, you'll get used to her smart remarks." The driver spoke.
"I went to school with that witch and im still not used to her." I said and started walking.
I caught up to them and wiped the glare off my face.
Time to put on a fake smile for spoiled rich people.
I straightened myself up and prepared to walk inside.
There was a line to get in but Jax just skipped it and walked inside.
The house was slightly bigger than Jax's house.
Who's idea was it to make houses so big?
I noticed something about the guests.
Everyone was wearing black or white.
Oh no.
I thought Jessica just wanted to go matching with Jax.
I thought she was trying to be all cute and shit.
I quickly followed Jax inside and walked closely behind him
The security guards were huge!
What do they serve at these galas?
They're like seven feet tall!
They immediately recognized Jax and let him right in.
one of the guards held his hand up in front of me and stopped me.
"Sorry ma'am, you're going to have to go back in line." He spoke.
I gave him and his partner a look and held up my badge.
"I'm sorry but I can't let you in. You're not in your appropriate attire."
"I'm here to protect the guy who hired you." I said.
He and his partner chuckled.
"I don't suppose you have proof." He asked.
"No I don't. But I can drop kick your ass for not letting me do my job of protecting our boss."
"Gentlemen. " Jax spoke from behind the two laughing men. "You will refer to her as Ms. Holt and she gets all access. Make sure to let the rest of your men know."
They cleared their throats and avoided eye contact.
"Right away sir."
They let me through and Jax stayed by my side.
