Dear Drugs,

They asked me if I was okay, I nodded my head telling them "Yes, very much,"
I thought I was.
They warned me about you.
The one's who didn't know, but knew from stories I'd tell.
You were the cigarette smoke I'd inhale.
That had my lungs darken each day you came close.
You were the poison I'd drink every damn evening,
When you feverishly kissed me, again and again.
By the time I faced my ceiling that night, I'd be wishing you were at my side.
The days would repeat, the same damn lovely routine.
You see, they were all right about you my love...
We get high off of things that kill us, but nonetheless take the pain away.

With love,

Casuallycool
