For some reason I've been thinking of you.
So I decided to write this,
In spite of you.
The day we met was October tenth,
It was a day, unfortunately I will never forget.
I found you laying in a field of flowers,
A polaroid camera extended towards the starlit sky.
"Taking shots of this beautiful night?"
"I come here often, thinking heaven might look this way" you replied.
You convinced me to stay a while,
You didn't know me, I was a complete stranger.
Though, I couldn't walk away,
My evil conscience yelled "NO, STAY"
You were fiddling nervously with the hem of your yellow blouse,
I picked up a Lilly and placed it into your auburn hair...
"Maybe heaven looks like you, flower girl."
