The next night. . .

I swung from the rooftops through the city, no crime so far and it was nearing the time the Flash told me to meet him there.

I did a backflip in midair and saw Star Labs upside down, a yellow streak came from the inside of the building.

The Flash worked out of Star Labs. Interesting.

That was my cue.

I spun back towards my goal and vaulted myself higher, do flips and spins each time.

The streak flew past underneath me.

I could make out his body, that was another ability I had. I saw a lot of things in slow motion. Such as bullets, and the Flash I guess.

My eyesight was just that quick.

I had been swinging around all day, the feeling was just so exhilarating I could do it forever if my muscles would hold up.

Admittedly I called in sick to work today, I mean it did make sense. I had been sick all weekend.

I landed softly on the rooftop just as the Flash came to a stop at the top of the building.

"Nice to see you again." The Flash nodded smiling.

"So you work out of Star Labs?" I questioned.

He nodded. "That's my base of operations. My team and I are pretty good together."

"I wouldn't doubt it with how much you've saved the city. One man can't do it all alone."

He put a silver spider symbol in my hands and a mask that was webbed with a silver lining and had silver eye glass on the front of it.

"I thought I was getting a full suit?" I said sadly.

"Never undermine the work of a genius." He said patting his chest.

I got his hint and put the symbol against my chest. It got very hot as it burned its way through my clothes and burned itself into my skin like a metal tattoo.

"Jeez, that's intense." I said as I hit the symbol that was now apart of me.

A black spandex like cloth unfurled from the spider and the same silver webbed lining covered the spandex across my entire body, except for my legs, under arms, sides, and some of my back was just normal black spandex except for around my waist it was like a belt.

I turned my wrists and noticed the much smaller black web shooters than the ones I had made.

"The webshooters have a lot of different options, trip mines, web bombs, impact webs, normal webs, electric webs. The symbol is connecting itself to your brain so you just have to think it. Except for when you activate the suit then you have to tap it. It's a bit complicated at first but you'll get the hang of it."

I turned around and pulled the mask off my head and replaced it with my new one. The city began to glow a bright blue before it was replaced with the dark sky. It was almost like my suit had just downloaded the entire city.

"Okay this is much more than I was expecting." I said to the Flash who was standing behind me.

"Do you like it?" He asked me.

I turned around. "I love it. Thank you and your team for doing this."

"Not a problem. We also put a communications earpiece in there so when you're ready just tap your ear and you'll be able to communicate with us."

I nodded and stuck out my hand. "To a new and long term partnership."

He gripped my hand. "To partners."

He nodded at me before turning to leave.

"Oh one more thing." The Flash said. "How much can you lift."

"I lifted ten tons earlier today and that was kind of easy." I shrugged.

His eyes widened before he walked off the edge of the building and sped back to Star Labs.

Another Month Later. . .

"Oh my god this rain is disgusting." Nora complained as we walked through the cold rain. Nora had a umbrella open above her head.

We flashed our badges as we arrived at the crime scene and crossed under the tape.

"What happened here?" I asked.

"Homicide. Three dead. A family. Mother, son, and daughter. We're still searching for the bodies." Joe said to us.

"How do you know they're dead?" Nora asked.

"Witness said that they laid motionless on the ground after being shot in the head multiple times. She didn't see what happened to the bodies. Fear drove her away."

I knelt down to examine it.

"What are you seeing?" Barry asked me.

"Who's the suspect?" I asked.

"The father, a man named Clayton Gordon." Joe said to me.

"I have an idea what happened but we need to get back to the precinct first." I said to them before we dispersed.

I sat down at Barry's computer and began typing away.

Nora, and Joe stood in front of the desk and watched while Barry stood over my shoulder.

"Clayton, has a conceal carry permit which is as I expected." I said to everyone.

I just looked at everyone's dumbfounded looks.

I raised an eyebrow. "Seriously, you guys are detectives. This is our first meta-tech case. Those bodies weren't hidden, they straight up disappeared. The gun burned them alive."

"How did you even get that hunch?" Barry asked.

"I could feel the dark matter, there was so much of it." I said putting my coat back on.

"I'll put out an APB for this guy. You guys do your science stuff see if we can get a location." Joe said waving at us before he left.

My spider sense tingled and I looked out on the street below.

"I'll be right back. I just remembered I had something to do quick."

I turned and walked out of the office. Instead of going down the stairs I went to the roof. I pounded up the stairs and pressed the symbol that had been burned into my skin.

I pulled the mask out of my coat and put it on once my suit had finished its routine.

I leapt off the roof of the building.

I saw what my spider sense was tingling about.

A bus was going out of control down the street, the front tire had been popped. A gun shot ripped through the air causing the back tire to pop this time. The bus swerved to stop but failed and launched itself into the air.

The Flash was no where to be seen.

"Guess I'm going to have to catch it."

My spider sense tingled again and there was a group of kids crossing the street as the bus hurled towards them.

I landed on the ground hard and my feet dug into the pavement. I braced for impact and spread my arms as the bus crashed into my back.

I opened my eyes after the bus was safely back on the street.

I quickly knocked on the window and made sure everyone was okay before I turned to the group of kids crossing the street.

"Make sure you look both ways before crossing the street." I told them before I leapt back into the action as I chased down Clayton.

The buses tires had burned away into nothing and my spider sense told me I was right about this.
