I slowly went to turn the knob of the next door.

As soon as I stepped I had expected the calendar to jump another week.

I was wrong.

May 13th

Nora had told me all about her story of finally becoming a noticed hero even though it was all a set up by some reporter named Spencer Young who got her hands on some meta-tech and hypnotized her into killing Barry.

And how Officer Jonesy unconsciously tried to set off a bomb at the CCPD softball game.

Not to mention the mass meta murder, Cicada, when I had heard about him I was terrified. I was kind of glad I was here rather than there.

Who am I kidding?

Of course I'd rather be there.

I took three steps before the scene around me began to change.

My suit spread across my body like a virus and I knew immediately that if I was getting my suit, I wouldn't be fighting anyone nice.

The jungle suddenly came to life around me as monkeys swung from the trees and birds cawed in the distance.

"Hello?" I called out as I strolled along the jungle bottom.

A loud roar echoed through the nearby brush.

A faint clicking sound seemed to follow me everywhere I went which was always followed by a low growl.

A growl that I would know anywhere.

My spider sense ripped through my brain and I did did a backflip as four claws ripped through the underbrush.

The eight foot tall lizard made his way out from his hiding spot.

"Welcome back bug. Time for you to get squashed." He said starting towards me.

"You won last time though." I fake complained. "When's it my turn?"

He hissed and snarled at my sarcasm as he lunged for me which I easily evade by running up the tree and flipping onto his back.

"Piggyback ride." I said as I created a lead and caught him around the throat.

He desperately clawed at the extremely durable webbing as he choked for air and stumbled around.

He finally got smart and backed straight into a tree crushing me between the two and freeing him of my hold.

"That was a cheap shot." I panted trying to regain air back into my lungs.

"Life ain't fair kid." He snarled again as he charged at me with his head down.

I spun away from the tree last second as the lizard sprinted right through it.

He roared in anger as I stood in front of another tree.

"Ándale, Ándale!" I shouted at him trying to get his attention again.

The brainless idiot did the same exact thing and went crashing through the wall.

""You know Connors I think you traded your brain for your arm because in your current state. You are an idiot." I chuckled.

I had gotten too cocky as I managed to miss the tail that was slithering behind my legs. A quick flick and I was on my back.

The Lizard pounced on top of me quickly, too quick for me to react and move.

He had my arms pinned to the ground and his hot, disgusting breath pulsated against my face as his long tongue went in and out of his mouth.

"Want a breath mint?" I asked him which was clearly not the answer as he grabbed me and threw me into a tree.

"Aww, is the Big Bad Lizard insecure about his breath?" I mocked as he sent me flying into another tree.

God, I really gotta quit doing that. I thought to myself as I struggled to get up.

"Wake up." Nora's voice floated through my mind and I knew had to keep going. Just hearing her voice gave me a newfound energy.

"Playtimes over." I said shooting webs over both of his shoulders.

"Missed me." He snarled.

I shrugged. "I wasn't aiming for you." I said as I slingshotted myself towards the Lizard catching him square in the chest.

I grabbed his tail which ripped off easily and began to beat him with his own tail.

"Stop hitting yourself." I said slapping him across the face. "Stop hitting yourself." I said hitting him on the other side of the face. I swung down low and uppercutted him causing him to do a backflip and landing on his stomach.

I walked up him and pulled his head up by the back of his neck. "I won this time." I hissed at him before slamming his face in the ground causing him to explode into a green dust.

I walked straight to the door and pulled it open before I was swallowed in light.

Nora sat rubbing her hands together anxiously as everyone else sat around laughing and drinking. Thea and Roy were out doing whatever they were doing, she didn't know.

"Hey, you good?" Barry asked he sitting taking a seat next to her. "I've notice you're a little off."

Nora took a drink of the alcoholic beverage in her hand without the metabolism drug so she wasn't feeling anything. "You mean besides the fact that my boyfriend is still in a coma?"

"You inherited my lying skills." Barry said chuckling. "There's more to it than that."

Nora looked at him suspiciously. "Can you even inherit lying?"

Barry cocked an eyebrow and pointed a finger at her. "Now you're just avoiding the question."

"Why didn't you stop me?" She asked looking at her drink.

"Stop you from what?" Barry asked confused.

"I'm the from the future dad, you always tell me not to mess with time and you let me fall in love with Luke." She said starting to cry. "And now I'm going to have to go back and it's going to absolutely destroy us and it's my fault."

Barry rubbed her back. "Love is an amazing thing, Nora. What you have with Luke shouldn't affect the future enough to make an impact on it. That's why I didn't stop you, because I'm your father and I would never stop you from falling in love."

She looked up at him. "Even if it's not going to work?"

Barry nodded. "Even if it's not going to work. Sometimes you need to fall in love the first time so that the second time you don't make the same mistakes and you know it's real."

Nora looked over at Iris. "What about you? You've always only loved mom."

Barry nodded. "Yeah I have, but your mom once loved Eddie Thawne before she loved me. Technically, I've fallen in love with Iris three times if you count the two times I changed the past after we kissed."

"You're such an idiot."
