8 o'clock right on the dot there was a knock at my window. I opened it and let the masked figure in, he wasn't wearing all of his costume only the mask. It was odd seeing a boy in sweatpants, tee shirt and a black and green mask."So what'd you do today" I smiled helping him through the window.
"Ahh you know villianly stuff, stealing food from the homeless, throwing children out windows" he said sarcastically.
I looked at him confused.
"Nah I'm just kidding I went to school and then did my homework" he laughed. I giggled along.
"Okay" I said holding up two movie options "Get Out or Se7en"
"You like those kind of movies?" He asked.
"Yeah, we can watch something else if you want" I said empathically.
"No no, I love those movies it's just... never mind, I like Se7en" he sighed, pointing to the movie in my left hand.
"Good choice." I smiled putting in the movie.
"Has anyone ever told you you look like Percy Jackson?" I randomly bursted out.
"What?"
"You look like Percy Jackson, like you know the books" I stuttered quickly.
"Oh, oh... actually yes, oddly enough" he signed and we went back to our movie.
The door rang and he shot up to go get it. He opened the door and the pizza delivery man dropped the pizza and ran.
"Hey wait I had a tip for you" Greenie yelled.
I giggled slightly, "Good going buddy" he rolled his eyes and sat down at the couch with the pizza.
We got a few minutes in to the movie and he did the whole "yawn over shoulder thing" I leaned into his shoulder and cuddled up to him. I looked up to see him smiling lightly, the lower part of his face looked vaguely familiar.
"So you go to my school, have I ever talked to you?" I asked softly.
"Barely, maybe a few words" he said still staring at the screen. "I don't think you would like the real me too much" he stated calmly
"Why" I questioned.
"I don't know I'm just... I got kicked out of my last school" he said.
"Apollyon High" I asked quickly wondering if he was Cohen.
"No, Evermay Prep" he stated. Evermay Prep was like the Harvard of high schools, only the smartest and best go there.
"Wow" I said.
"Not as stupid as I look" he said looking down at me, he leaned down to kiss me when the window shattered open. A blonde man rushed through the broken window, his eyes where a neon blue that seemed to fluctuate brightness. Apollyon.
"Ahh you finally got a girlfriend now didn't ya" he said to Greenie.
"Don't do this" he said warningly. I stood there paralyzed. Until I saw a glass vase to my left, I picked up the vase and threw it at him. I ran out the door taking Greenies hand pulling him along. I ran an odd way to the parking garage and jumped into my car which I barely knew how to drive.
"Take a left here" Greenie said. I followed what he said without question.
"Right"
"Right"
"Left"
"Right"
"Pullover"
I pulled over into a dirt parking lot next to a wooded area. He ran through the wooded area zig zagging through trees until we were in a awkwardly placed playground area. He climbed quickly up a ladder and walked over to the opening of a large, circular yellow slide.
"Come on" he motioned for me. He slapped the top of the slide twice and slide down pulling my foot with him.
When we reached what was suppose to be the bottom of the slide, there was a large room that was adorn with green Christmas lights on the ceiling, black tile and had black furniture. He hit the bottom of the slide twice again.
"Wow" I sighed walking in a circle.
"Are you okay" he asked adjusting his mask.
"Yeah, I mean I'm in a villains lair" I smiled and looked at him.
"Apollyon is gonna be looking for awhile so..." he trailed off.
"I should probably stay" I finished looking at the black tiles.
"Yeah." He said scratching his hair.
