Springtime Nostalgia

42 11 18

Whiffs of golden sunrise petals
Trickle through my vernal windows
Fragrance of blossoming meadows
Greet my soul in gentle twiddles

Essence saturated homestead walls
Reminiscent of what once has been
Childhood's sweet memories keen
Warble amidst my mental halls

Olden days feel near for a while
Wistful sighs resonate with tears
Much too much of joyful years
Roll beneath nostalgic smiles

Let my lungs soak up the attar
Inhale  whispers of better days
Hold dear relics of heart always
Matchless moments never shatter
