In another life perhaps
Or in a vivid dream
Where the walls of
souls did collapse
You look familiar
To my lonely heart
Was it not waiting
For my life to start?
Do you remember?
That first glance
Divine miracle
By happenstance
Or was is just me?
Hoping, wishing,
Aching for a chance
Did you feel it?
Did you notice
A shy silhouette
Of a lover-to-be?
Or a vague shadow
All You did see
Was this even tr--
Oh! Perhaps not…
Sorry to bother you.
