Backstabbed By Life

Gold:
What's that on your back, Silver?

Silver:
I've been backstabbed by Life
Her pain and betrayals are rife

Gold
Dear brother! That must hurt!

Silver
Like being buried in dirt
I've been a prisoner by her Majesty
For longer than my time

Bronze
Look behind you, Silver,
The prison doors are open
You had your freedom all along

Silver:
I am the Present. I stay put
Outside my cell I cannot set foot

Gold:
Listen to Bronze. He's got the wisdom of the years gone.
You can leave your cell and move on.

Silver:
But my back is daggered
And my legs are staggered

Gold:
Those daggers can give you might
They can be wings to take flight
Or weapons to put up a fight

Bronze
Get up, let's go, brother
You lose Today , you get another

Silver stood tall, no longer ill
And with his brothers he left the prison cell
