KIM SIGHS as georgia stomped past her and out the girls locker room, standing in there alone
she looks around and blinks, waiting expectantly for him to appear.
"leo?" she calls out
then there he was, looking at her nervously "you okay?" "no. i'm not scared of the principal but if she does call my mom" kim rolls her eyes annoyed "and she will, i'm gonna get a speech" leo looks down unsure of what to do
kim turned towards him, arms crossed as she gave him a tight lipped smile "you wanna come see me die?"
kim sat a chair away from a fuming georgia, who sat with a pout and her arms crossed they were called to the office a few minutes later, georgia stood up and angrily stalked into the principal's office when the secretary lady signaled them in
leo looked at kim as they both went to stand "hey you didn't do anything wrong; you were about to defend yourself against a bully, that's all" he said in assurance which made kim smile up at him before he followed her into the room
"kimberly! go 'head, take a seat next to georgia so we can sort this out" kim rolls her eyes before taking a seat in the chair
the secretary shuts the door before the principal turns to face the seemingly two other souls in the room, sighing before giving the two a serious look with her cutting blue eyes "so do you two mind telling me what's going on?"
before kim could even breathe georgia went to speak, "she put her hands on me" "and she purposely kicked the ball in my face" "how do you purposely kick a friggin' ball into someone's face from such a far distance iowa?" "that's beyond me blondie. but i do hear you're very aim-worthy with your kicks when you're upset. they should plaster my face on the other teams' goal so you can actually kick the ball in sometimes. maybe then you'll be useful!" "oh shut the—" "enough!"
"you two are both at fault for this..." kim faded her principal's voice out when leo leaned in closer to her ear "does she look familiar to you?" kim's eyebrows furrow, turning her head slightly to him "who? my principal?"
"what was that miss yates?" the voice of her principal became alarmingly clear, kim snapped her head back to the older woman "nothing, sorry principal winchester." leo's eyes widen,
"you are forgiven. anyway,"
"i have to leave kim, my head hurts" kim got worried and looked back at him "how does your head hurt?" "what kimberly?" her principal was getting aggravated now "are you insane, iowa?" georgia glares at her "i don't know kim but i have to go—"
the flare up between the four was interrupted when the secretary and an other woman came rushing in. "cici girl, we have to talk"
the principal groans annoyed. "does anybody realize that i'm just trying to bring peace here?" "i do, principal winchester!" georgia shrieks kim ignored the world around her and watched as leo looked at her principal with heavy eyes before he vanished
"kimberly?" her principal's voice brought her back to reality again, the black teen looked at her "yes?"
"i wanna speak to you personally tomorrow after school," her principal said with sympathetic eyes before looking over at the two young ladies, "look i don't want to hear any of this happen again, if it does; there will be detention and the calling of parents involved. okay?"
"yes ma'am." both her and georgia say in union before she dismisses them
the other woman at the door stared at kim in an odd way as she left, kim put her head down to avoid any more disapproving looks from women in their 30's ~
kim and georgia stayed on the benches for the remainder of soccer practice when they learned that they were both disqualified for the next upcoming game, they sat far away from each other looking opposite ways
kim held a tissue under her nose when it started bleeding again as she wondered of leo's whereabouts, he had been more on her mind lately, especially since that office fiasco. he left too hurriedly for her taste, she grew upset when thinking about the way leo stared at her principal, melancholic and in yearning.
