ONE DAY
she woke up in nothing but his shirt at three in the morning
it was a struggle to leave his arms but she did she checked on her mother and kissed her forehead before walking back into her room
she sat at her desk and watched him sleep the sun was nowhere in sight but she sees him still
four am
she watches him still was it legal for anyone to be that beautiful?
five am
the sun was beginning to rise and he was still asleep she laughs and shakes her head at herself in ridicule
this boy truly had no idea about the effect he had on her
when they had first met, she thought he was the devil
& then he stole her heart
she bites her lip and checks the time
six am
she rises from the chair and strips herself free from his shirt
she walks into the bathroom and steps inside the shower slowly pushing the curtain
she turns the handle until the water is set on hot she ties her hair up
water falls on the skin he's touched
she stands under it thinking
drops fall on her lashes everything is a blur
the water patters the tub floor and every sound is muted
her voice acts like its never been there usually she sings in the shower
reality pulls her down when his arms wrap around her she takes a deep breath as she leans her head on his shoulder with her eyes closed
he says something but she doesn't hear it
the way they were now was enough
after what felt like forever he turns off the water and soaps her body she does the same
the water falls like rain & this time its cold
he kisses her and she kisses back
he holds her hands in his and she tightens the grip
his kiss moves to her neck and she puts her head back again in satisfaction
she finally hears him "i want you so bad"
but before she can say "take me" he pulls away
everything is muted but she reads his lips it was something along the lines of her going to school she rolls her eyes and reaches to kiss him which he accepts but he doesn't let it go no further
"you're no fun" she says to him with a playful frown and he laughs
she loves that
when her love laughs.
to avoid any questions, leo snuck out the back door as kim kisses her mother goodbye before leaving the house. kim meets him outside while he's walking and they switch places, leo slides into the driver's seat of her car and takes her hand in his, he kisses it and then her lips before he drives off.
they pull up to eastview blasting usher through the aux cord plugged into kimberly's phone, she showed him this technology on the drive-to, leo was dumbstruck yet appreciative of the discovery.

leo rolls his eyes before getting out the car to open kim's door for her, she takes his hand and he pulls her up before pulling her close and giving her a kiss in front of everyone who was watching
kim smiles when he pulls away, aware that a lot of people were eyeing them now, some were even whistling;
"go get yo man, k! yas female!" both her and leo laugh at that
"see you later?" kim says with big eyes "withoutta doubt, baby."
he pecks her lips twice and gives her the sexiest wink in existence.
he lets go of her hands and climbs in the car, waving at her one more time before driving off. kim watches him leave and turns around when the car's not in sight, meeting eyes with ruby, youth and delilah
"bitcchhhhh!" youth yells.
"tell...us...everything!" ruby squeals, locking kim's arm with hers as youth and delilah do the same. the four black girls march into eastview with huge smiles on their faces.
