Tara's POV
I got to the topshop and I was waiting there for 20 minutes. I was finally getting ready to leave when someone tapped me on the shoulder.
I turned around and there was a lady in about her late 30s.
"Tara?" She spoke.
"Yeah?" I asked confused.
"Oh Tara." The lady spoke with tears in her eyes.
The lady then hugged me.
T: "Mom?"
"I'm so sorry Tara." the lady spoke.
I then wrapped my arms around the stranger that was my mother.
She then let go and looked at me up and down.
"Oh my god you've grown so much." She said softly.
"Yeah that tends to happen when you get older. I'm sorry but I don't know what to call you." I said
"You can call me Mom." She said with a small smile.
"I'm sorry I don't feel comfortable calling you that."
"Oh I understand" She spoke with a hint of hurt in her voice.
"You can call me Annie"
"It's nice to see you again Annie.'
She hugged me again.
When she let go I smiled at her.
"Would you like to go get something to eat.' I asked.
"I don't have money." she said
I looked at her. She was wearing some baggy blue jeans with a plain black shirt with some black flats.
I felt bad for her.
"I'll be paying."
(skip past the lunch)
Annie and I went back to in front of the topshop and said our goodbyes.
"Do you live around here?" I asked her.
"Yes I live on the bad part of town, It's a little run down." she said with her head down.
"Do you live with anyone?" I was wondering.
A: "Yes I live with my boyfriend."
T: "You have a boyfriend?"
A: "Yes"
T: "I'm happy for you."
A: "After I gave you up, I lran away and left your father."
T: "My father is Justin. That man you lived with only helped conceive me. That it. He is nothing but dirt in my eyes." I spoke harshly.
A: "You need to forgive him."
T:"You have no idea what he put my through."
A: 'I know what he did was horrible."
T: "You don't know anything Annie."
A: "Tara please, I know what he put you through."
T:" Do you? Did you know I had a attachment disorder because of him. Do you know how much it took for me to love Justin? My life has been a living hell because of that man"
A: "I'm so sorry Tara."
T: "It's not your fault." I said feeling bad that I yelled at her.
T: "I'm sorry I have to go. I have a thing I have to get to but It was great seeing you Annie."
A: "Thank you for coming."
T: "Do you maybe want to take a picture together?"
A: "I would love to."
I smiled at the camera and she kissed my cheek.
Annie then hugged me.
T: "Do you have a ride home?"
A: "I'll walk."
T: "Oh no. i'm sorry I would give you a ride but I need to get going. Heres 30 for the ride home. Is that enough?" I asked.
Annie: "It might have to be 50."
T: 'Oh goodness. Here you go."
I said handing her 50 dollars.
Annie: "Thank you sweetie."
Annie and I then hugged one last time and parted ways.
